Jaime A. Nunez, Sr., age 67, passed away suddenly Wednesday February 14, 2024 at his home. He was born January 7, 1957 in Santurce, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Randolfo Nunez Abreu and Andrea Medero Nunez. Jaime graduated from Barringer High School in Newark, New Jersey. He worked at Victaulic as a Lead Technician Trainer for 17 years. He was known for always being the life of the party. His hobbies included dancing, music, and collecting antique hot rods and Kangol hats. He was a member of the Puerto Rican club in southside Bethlehem. He will be dearly missed by his family. Jaime is survived by two sons, Jaime A. Nunez, Jr. (Maria) and Jovonnie Nunez; daughter, Jessica Hill (Thomas); four grandchildren, Isaiah A. Nuñez, Anaiya J. Hill, Julian T. Hill, Jaylee Z. Nuñez; and six siblings; Tadeo Negron, Alejandrina Vasquez, Elizabeth Rodriguez (Samuel), Noemi Rosado (Santos), Samuel Nunez, and Andrea Diaz (Antonio). In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by Angel Louis Nunez, David Nunez, Randolfo Nunez Jr, Julio Cesar Negron and Francisca Soto. Linda L. Fussner, 83, of Allentown, passed away on February 15, 2024. She and her husband, George J. Fussner would have celebrated 65 years of marriage on August 1. Born in Kewanee, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Geraldine (Handibode) Moon. Linda was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and was a member of the DAV Ladies Auxiliary Chapter 7, both of Allentown. She was employed as a certified fitter at BOAS Surgical Inc. in Allentown for 22 years before retiring in 2007. Linda also worked as a self-employed beautician for many years. She loved spending time with her “Aruba Family”, cooking, and was a talented seamstress. Survivors: Husband; Daughter, Kathleen Kowker; Son, Jeffrey Fussner and his wife, Raina; Grandchildren, Patrick Kowker and his wife, Andrea, Jillian Kowker, Sean Guest, Amanda Guest, Kiana Fussner, Skyler Fussner, Sakira Fussner, Alyssa Fussner, and Kaitlyn Fussner; and 4 Great-Grandchildren. "Elma Mae Uhle, 103, of Allentown, died Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Cedarbrook Senior Care and Rehabilitation, where she was a resident for 12 years. Born in Allentown on March 29, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Anita Harley. She was the wife of the late Robert Goodwin Uhle and they were married for 64 years at the time of his death in 2005. Elma lived a life full of happy times with her family and friends, celebrating every holiday and birthday with her famous get-togethers. Everyone looked forward to her legendary parties by the pool. Her creativity was evident in all aspects of her life including her gardening skills, home-cooked meals and sewing beautiful dresses and doll clothes. She was especially fond of creating memorable Halloween costumes and dressing up for the occasion. She studied jewelry making with C. Leslie Smith, making one-of-a-kind silver pieces she gave as gifts. Her painting talents continued throughout her life, painting watercolors up until about a year ago. There are over a dozen journals she wrote, documenting her daily life and the good thoughts she was feeling. She was a writer for Cedarbrook\u0027s Sunshine News and illustrated many of its covers. She also had a love of nature and animals, raising a wide assortment of chickens, ducks, rabbits, dogs, cats and even a goat. Those that knew her, loved her. Always smiling, never complaining, she was a wonderful example of goodness for us all. Survivors: Daughter Jane Krasley and her husband Doug, Son-in-law Will Krempasky, beloved granddaughters Sue Dickinson (Pat), Katherine Steirer (Bill) and Jesse Krasley, all of South Whitehall Township. She is also survived by great granddaughters Katie Valentine, Julie Dickinson, Lizzy Steirer, Caroline Steirer, and Meredith Steirer. Great-Great Granddaughters are Lucy and Gwynn Valentine. Another great-great grandchild is on the way. Elma was predeceased by daughter Gwynn Krempasky and sister Marie Harley. The family would like to acknowledge Cedarbrook Senior Care and Rehabilitation, with a special thanks to all those that cared for her. You all were her second family and you added years to her life and life to her final years. Private graveside services for family at a later date. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring. Janice Augello, 79, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 10, 2024, with her loving family by her side. She was the cherished wife of the late Anthony "Guido" Augello and daughter of the late Peter and Accursia DiRaimondo. A native New Yorker, hailing from the Bronx, Janice earned a degree in fashion design and business management from NYC's Fashion Institute of Technology. Her professional career began in Manhattan’s bustling Garment District where she was a buyer for several major fashion labels. It was here, in the production facilities, warehouses and showrooms, that she honed her chic and sophisticated fashion style. It was also where she met her husband of 48 years, Guido. Janice later became a clothing boutique proprietor, proudly owning the Body Shop on 19th Street in Allentown for over a decade. Janice was widely beloved for her friendly, warm, welcoming and outgoing personality. She inspired fun times wherever she went. Her passions included travel, gardening and cooking. Above all, she was happiest with a well-stocked fridge with food and family crowded around her kitchen table. Survivors: Janice is lovingly remembered by her son, Jonathan Augello of Crested Butte, CO; her son Jeffrey Augello, his wife Brooke and their children Caterina and Alessia of Olney, MD; her son Michael Augello of Allentown; and her brother, Donald DiRaimondo of Queens, NY. She was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, February 16, 2024, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 450 E.
