Cheryl Endress Obituary

Wyoming - Cheryl J. Endress, 66, of Wyoming, passed away on Wednesday, April 19th, 2023, with her loving nieces, Jenny Williams, Renee Rowe, and Amy Newhalfen in attendance. Cheryl had been a resident at Henry Rehabilitation and Nursing Home for about a week. Cheryl was born the fourth child of Earl and Nina (Vest) Endress of Speer and later of Wyoming, Illinois. They both preceded her in death. Cheryl was born on Sunday, September 2nd, 1956. She has four surviving siblings, Mike Endress of Wyoming, Marsha Parker of Wyoming, Robert "Bob" Endress of Henry, and Ron (Phyllis) Endress of Lacon. Cheryl graduated from Sparland High School and later Illinois Central College receiving her certification in Operating Room Technology. She first worked with Dr. Richard June in Chillicothe. Cheryl then worked for Dr. Lenard Costa DDS in Peoria for over 20 years. Upon his death, she moved to Wyoming and started to work for Bradford Elementary School with special needs students. While working at Bradford, she moved in with her parents to assist with the care of her father and mother dealing with Alzheimer's Disease. After her mother's passing, she found herself working in Bradford still and now caring for her father with lung cancer. Upon his passing, she continued to work for Bradford Elementary for over 25 years until she retired in August of 2022. Cheryl was plagued with health issues that no one could explain or could find a cause for. Cheryl was loved by many and will be missed by many. To honor Cheryl's wishes, there will be no public services.
