BURNHAM-Charlotte L. Henry, lovingly called Weezie, went home to be with the Lord on February 3, 2019, surrounded by her loving family in Waterville. Charlotte was born on July 18, 1927, in Burnham, Maine, a daughter of James and Gladys (Ellingwood) Huff. She enjoyed making furniture for Ethan Allan, was a hand sewer of shoes, liked driving taxi for Mr. Long and worked with her daughter Gladys at the Hartland Diner. Weezie was beyond generous, always taking care of others first. Her door was always open and she was content with all that she had. She liked picking berries, dandelion greens and fiddleheads. She enjoyed having a fishing pole in hand and always liked having her dogs around her. She loved her family with all her heart and was always there for them. She had a lot of spunk, was known to be sassy and was called the "Burnham Girl" whenever that feisty side showed through. She was a loving wife, mom, grandmother, sister and aunt. She is survived by her children: Gladys Nichols of Burnham, Sandra Witham of Burnham, Jim Henry of Canaan and Lonnie Henry of Burnham; sister, Marjorie Lawrence of St. Albans; many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; loving husband Harold Henry; children: Bobby Henry, Elizabeth Ring and Julie Henry; grandchildren: Richard, David, Amos and Michael; sister, Libby Bellofatto; and brother, Jay Huff. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, February 7, 2019, at the Shorey-Nichols Funeral Home, 191 Hartland Avenue, Pittsfield. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, February 8, at the Winnecook Christian Church, 4 Chapel Lane, Burnham, with Pastor David Ray officiating. A potluck gathering will follow and all are welcome. A committal will take place in the spring at the Huff Cemetery, Mount Road in Burnham. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Waterville Humane Society, 100 Webb Road, Waterville, Maine, 04901.
