Charles Walter Wright, Jr. "Charlie", of Sun City West, AZ passed away peacefully on June 15th. Originally from North Tarrytown, New York (now known as Sleepy Hollow), Charlie is a graduate of the Academy of Aeronautics in New York and spent much of his career in the corporate aviation maintenance field, retiring from Reynolds American (RJR Nabisco) in North Carolina. His legacy in the aviation field will be long standing as his son, son-in-law and grandson follow in his footsteps in various aviation related positions. Charlie and his family lived in New York, Connecticut, and California before" landing" in North Carolina, where in 1995 he retired. He enjoyed many years of family boating and RV travel and after retirement spent several very enjoyable years in his RV with his beloved wife of over 67 years, Marcella, traveling the country and enjoying their time together. During their travels they grew fond of Arizona and in late 1997 they settled in Sun City West full-time where they lived until his passing. He is preceded in death by his daughter Patricia and wife Marcella and is survived by his son, Robert (spouse Leslie Wright), daughter Caroline (spouse Steve Woods), grandchildren Jennifer (spouse Scott Greiner), Jeremy Woods, Michael and Sean Wright and great-grandchildren Mason and Quinn Greiner.
