Nicholson Road in Oak Creek, WI Friday, February 16, 2024, 3:30 PM – 5:30 pm with Memorial Services at 5:30 PM A Celebration of Life gathering will also be held at the Marten Center 120 S. Franklin Street in Mondovi, WI Sunday, March 10, 2024 1:00 PM-4:00 PM Randy had a passion for helping people in need, including those suffering in Ukraine. In lieu of flowers, the family will be directing memorials to organizations he was passionate about. Of Oak Creek, WI. After a lifetime of living out his dreams here on earth with his wife and daughters, Randy entered eternal life to be with his heavenly father, passing away from complications related to a courageous battle with prostate cancer, while surrounded by family on February 9, 2024. Randy was born on April 16, 1954, in Madison, WI to Gordon and Jeanne Isaacson, who were loving parents and followers of Christ. Randy grew up on the Pine Knoll farm in Drammen Township, just outside of Mondovi where he loved riding on his pony Rowdy. Following his graduation from Mondovi High School in 1972, Randy went to LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas. Over the next 9 years, he worked several jobs including Larsen’s farm, Packerland, and Longview Ambulance service. He made many friends, through the KZX fraternity and graduated in 1980. During his college years, Randy met his spouse Theresa, whom he loved madly, in 1976. They married in 1978 when Theresa was locked into a lifetime of adventure and big crazy dreams with Randy. They started a family in 1979 and Randy’s daughters were his pride and joy. Randy had many entrepreneurial dreams and passions. Randy worked as a Loan officer at PCA/Farm Credit Services, United Bank, served on the Mondovi School Board for 18 years, and the Mondovi Ambulance Service for 30 years. After a friendly chat during a family vacation to their favorite spot, Jellystone Park in Warrens, Randy began a career of financing campgrounds. He loved helping others live out their dreams. So, when he realized his dream of becoming the owner of Jellystone Park in Caledonia, WI in 2005, he continued his work as a loan officer – most recently as CCF Bank. He loved creating a place for families to make memories and was proud to offer a place for Sunday morning worship. Randy loved having his family together and seeing his grandchildren enjoy the fruits of his labor. He loved sharing lessons and adventure with the #dozencousins and took them on a five-state, eight-day adventure in an RV this past summer. He will be remembered by everyone for his kind and giving nature, playful spirit and contagious smile. Randy was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanne, his father, Gordon, and other loved ones. He is survived by his wife, Theresa, daughters Rachel Heinson, Bridget (Scott) Bender, and Marley (Ryan) Behnke. Grandpa of Gage, Brooklynn, Noah, Bennett, Everett, Kiptyn, Axel, Brecken, Brycen, Kaleb, Rowan, and Lincoln. Brother of George (Debra) and Doug (Kim) Isaacson. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, his Jellystone Park “family” and many good and dear friends and colleagues.
