Charles D. "Chuck" Walton, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away September 29, 2023 at the age of 65, after a long, brave fight against colon cancer. He was born April 17, 1958 in Maywood, California to Uless Leon and Julia Ann (nee Rowe) Walton. Chuck got his B. S. in Engineering and M. B. A. at the Ohio State University where he also met the love of his life, Karen Cox. For years, the couple enjoyed attending the games and supporting their alma mater. Taking a tour of Europe was by far Chuck's favorite traveling experience with anywhere near the ocean a close second favorite. Chuck loved cats and took great care of his five feline babies. Chuck worked as an engineer for GE Aerospace and as a manager/program director for Northrup Grumman. He thoroughly enjoyed the technical aspect of his job and the people he worked with. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Uless and Julia Walton. Chuck is survived by: wife, Karen Cox; and siblings, Boyd Walton, Becky White, and Linda Catheter; and his best friends Duane Johnson and Bryan Price. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 noon at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Audrey Smith, age 84, of West Chester, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. She was born in Hazard, Kentucky on April 16, 1939 to James and Nora Cook (nee Stacy). She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Billy Smith. Audrey is survived by her; daughters, Judy (Dave) Caproni, Candi (Andy) Jostworth, and Connie Rothgeb, grandchildren, Julie (Tony) Dillion, Kelly (Matt) Bucker, Mallory Caproni, Rebecca Rothgeb, Russell Rothgeb, Stephen Smith, Caleb (Allison) Smith, Samantha Jostworth, Drew Jostworth; and Great-Grandchildren, Chloe Hessling, Owen Bucker, Nolan Bucker, Audrey Bucker; and sisters, Pauline Fox, Rubie Smith; and a host of other family members and friends. Audrey was a fan of reading, classic television shows and movies and was known for her collection of thimbles. Earlier in life she loved to play cards, and craft, creating many cherished gifts for loved ones. She also enjoyed playing bingo and visits from her family. She loved to have photos of everyone to display as she was proud to show off her family. Audrey loved to make baked goods, and Christmas candy to share with all. Known as mom, aunt Rennie, grandma, and Ggma; she was an avid gift giver, always sending visitors away with a bag of sweets or a small gift. Audrey was opinionated, strong, and raised a family who continues to grow and carry on many traditions together; and will miss her dearly. Diane Loesch went home to be with her Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ from her earthly home in West Chester, Ohio on December 4, 2023. She was born on November 25, 1939 in Evansville, Indiana. She is preceded in death by her parents, Reginal P. and Mary Helen Mominee, sisters, Marilyn Jean Forshee and Linda Nunning. Diane graduated from North High in Evansville in 1957. She studied piano at Evansville College and attended Middle Tennessee College and was awarded a "PhT" by ISU when her husband Danny graduated in 1965. She is survived by her husband Daniel (Danny), their daughter Elana K Auls (Jeff) and son, Stephen (Gretel) Loesch. Grandchildren Meghan Ellsworth, Rafer and Ian Brimelow and Ozzy (Jeff) Toth; great-grandchildren Petra Shtiewi, Ezekiel and Odessa Olivia Tully-Chenault, Jacen Padro and Wesley Hensley. She is also survived by sisters: Nancy Jacobs, Carole (Bob) Higgs, and Anita (Bill) Felts and sister-in-law Dorris Loesch and many, much loved, nieces and nephews. She was a stay-at-home mom, but after her kids were in high school and college she owned and operated "All My Children Doll Shop" in Hyde Park and Olde Montgomery. Along with Danny, she was a G-partner in the "Pizza Tower" restaurant. On retiring she and Danny moved to Tours, France for an extended vacation. Over many years she served in Orchard Park and Loveland Presbyterian Churches and was a member of Crestview Presbyterian. Diane’s visitation is Friday, December 8 at Crestview Presbyterian Church, 9463 Cincinnati-Columbus Road at 10am followed by the service at 11. Douglas L. Brand, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the age of 67. He was born Saturday, June 23, 1956 in Midland, Michigan to Harold and Betty (Tracy) Brand. Doug met his wife, Rebecca J. Donovan in Ann Arbor, MI. They married on July 16, 1983 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Where they raised their two daughters, Jaime Brand and Caitlin Brand. Doug is survived by: his wife, Becky; his children, Jaime and Caity; parents, Harold and Betty; his siblings, Michael (Diana), Cheryl (David) Chapin, and Dennis (the late Deborah); and many nieces and nephews. Doug never met a stranger and could carry on conversations for hours. Doug was the king of bad Dad Jokes, but you couldn't help but laugh. An avid outdoorsman, Doug loved to fish; nothing made him smile more than catching his own fishing bait to throw back in the water to catch a bigger fish. Doug also enjoyed caring for his garden and many bird feeders. A Michigan State Basketball and Football Fan, Cincinnati Bengals and Reds, Doug enjoyed sports. Along with his wife, he was on a golf league and bowling league for many years creating lifelong friendships. Doug will be forever loved and cherished by all who knew him. Amanda Sanchez (nee Cano) of West Chester, Ohio, passed away peacefully November 23, 2023 at the age of 78. She was born September 16, 1945 in Colombia to Emilio and Lola (nee Gonzalez) Cano. Amanda loved to take care of her family by cooking authentic Colombian meals for them. She enjoyed reading and staying current on events. Amanda was also quite the dancer making the traditional latin moves look easy. Amanda was preceded in death by: parents, Emilio and Lola Cano; siblings, Michael Gonzalez, Marina Cabrera, Hernan Cano, and Guillermo Cano; and son-in-law, Orlando Leguizamon Rivera. Amanda is survived by: children, Anna Herrera, Adriana (Jeff) Smudski, Gonzalo (Deborah) Herrera, Elizabeth (Jon) Coleman, and Luis (Catherine) Sanchez; grandchildren, Ronald (Aubrey) Glover Jr. , Christopher (Amanda) Glover, Amanda Glover, Brian (Lana) Smudski, Lisa Smudski, Andres Herrera, Isabella Herrera, Kallie Coleman, August Coleman, and Crewe Coleman; great-grandchildren, Parker Glover, Madilyn Glover, Finley Glover, and Luca Glover; siblings, Lucy (Cesar) Chapeta and William (Angie) Gonzalez; and many loving family members and friends. Raymond A. Miranda, 70, passed away peacefully at home in West Chester, Ohio, on October 24, 2023. He was the first son born on September 11, 1953 to Dominic and Helen Miranda in Brooklyn, New York. Ray was married to his wife, Debbie Miranda, for 8 years, and was the proud father of Shannon, Natalie (Andrew), and stepfather of Heather (Troy). He found great joy in spending time with his grandchildren, Connor and Weston. A lover of animals, Ray cherished his loyal canine companion, Jack, and his horses, Babe, Baby and Dakota. He is survived by his wife, daughters, brothers, Joey and Marc, sister, Donna Marie, loving relatives, as well as countless friends. Ray was a true adventurer and spent many of his years traveling abroad to Belize, Paris, Amsterdam, Mexico, and domestically to some of his favorite cities such as Savannah, Georgia and Cape May, New Jersey, where his mother and father lived for a significant portion of his adult life. His travels included time spent scuba-diving, skiing, attending concerts and tasting the freshest local foods he could discover (and of course enjoying a glass of fine wine). At every family gathering or dinner, Ray was the life of the party, telling his favorite travel adventure stories and sharing his perspective of the world with his family and friends. His daughters recall Ray's love of food and talent as a cook, where he would often recreate his favorite meals at home. For over 40 years, Ray was a dedicated employee at United Performance Metals (formerly Ferguson Metals) before his well-deserved retirement in 2019. Ray always went above and beyond in all that he did and accomplished many milestones in his career. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 30th at 1:00pm at Rest Haven Memorial Park, 10209 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241. Michael Patrick Kyle - Age 57 of West Chester, Ohio passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023. Mike met the love of his life, Michelle, in June 1986 while Michelle was on her High School Senior Trip in Daytona Beach, Florida. Excited about spending their lives together, the two were married on September 19, 1992. Mike worked for F&M Mafco, Inc. for nearly 37 years before retiring in June 2021. Mike enjoyed the friendships he built with his co-workers over the years. We were blessed with three children, Stephanie, Zachary and Emily. His love for his children knew no bounds, his children were his greatest source of pride and joy. Mike's love for his family was immeasurable. He valued the time we spent together. He insisted on family vacations, and never let an important moment go uncelebrated. While Mike loved his role as husband and father, one of his favorite roles was that of Grandpa. Mike cherished his time with his granddaughter, Aubrey. They were inseparable, Paw Patrol buddies. They loved watching Paw Patrol, Scooby Doo, being outdoors, going to parks, riding bikes and swimming. Mike was born on May 11, 1966, to the late Edward and Judy (Diesman) Kyle. He is preceded in death by his uncle Bob Ahrens and cousin Robyn Ahrens. He is survived by his brother, Edward Kyle II, his aunt Dorothy Ahrens-Callihan, his cousins Debbie (Rob) Clemens, Karen (Doug) Wolfram, Lisa Austing, Chris Thomas, Cindy (Dwight) Collins. Mike is also survived by his father/mother-in-law Dan and Mary Lou Wood, brother-in-laws /sister-in-laws Patrick (Melynda) Wood, Eileen (Len) Werdman, Mike (Jenny) Wood, Kathy Smith, Tim (Theresa) Wood, and his 36 nieces/nephews. Mike loved to entertain. When we were looking at homes 5 years ago, his key requirement was to find a home where we could entertain our family and friends in. Mike was an avid Cincinnati sports fan. He loved attending & watching the Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds, and FC Cincinnati games. He hosted a Super Bowl party for the past 20 years with his friends and their children who became family, Tim/Cindy Billinghurst, Todd/Chris Harrison, Jeff/Teri Eagle, Steve/Jackie Capano, Lou/Kathy Yorio, Bill/Sandy Wietmarschen, and Keith/Kim Miller. Mike was always ready to lend a helping hand and always had tools to fix whatever needed fixing. Mike also loved gadgets. He was always looking for something to make life a little easier. He shared his love of gadgets with his mother-in-law, Mary Lou. Mike touched the lives of all who knew him, and his presence will be deeply missed. Some people come into our lives and quickly go while others stay and leave footprints in our hearts, and we are never the same. We will take comfort in our memories and know that we have a guardian angel watching over us.
