"Charles Homer Thompson, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on May 7, 2023, at the age of 79 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Charles was born on January 22, 1944, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to the late Charles and Cloy Thompson. Charles was a man who loved life and lived it to the fullest. His passion for fishing and camping was legendary, and he spent many happy hours exploring the outdoors with his family and friends. His favorite spot was Tenkiller Lake, where he would often park his trailer and spend days fishing and relaxing on the water. Charles was a force to be reckoned with on the lake, and he won a boat in the Lucky 13 fishing contest, which he cherished. He was known for his competitive spirit and his determination to do things his way or not at all. Charles was a Freemason and a member of the Tulsa Scottish Rite Charles married the love of his life, Sharon, on his birthday in 1977, and they spent 45 wonderful years together. His wife, children, and grandchildren were the center of his world, and he loved nothing more than spending time with them and making memories. Charles will be deeply missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, and all who knew him. His love of life and his passion for the outdoors will live on in the hearts of those he touched. Charles was preceded in passing by his parents, Charles and Cloy; his brother, Wayne Crampton; brother, Gary Thompson and his sister, Gloria DeGarmo. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Thompson; his son, Kyle Thompson and his wife, Becky; his daughter, Teri Skinner and her husband, Reid; his grandchildren, Caden and Gage Skinner; his sister, Anita Flanagan and her husband, Bob; his sister, Mary Jo Hillman, and numerous other family members and friends. A celebration of Charles\u0027s life will be 10:00 am, Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel"
