"Charles Dale Robertson, age 56 of Statham, GA passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023. He is survived by his mother, Ann Robertson; brother, Michael Robertson (Christina); stepchildren, Nic Bourchier (Tabatha) and Jessie Turner (Jim); grandchildren, Jaiden, Jordan, and Kinsley; as well as many cousins and other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Lee Robertson and wife Kathy Waters Robertson. Dale was a big fan of Nascar, where you could always find him rooting for Kyle Busch. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gathering with his family and friends enjoying a nice, good meal. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Sunday, September 24 from 10:00AM-1:00PM at Tom M. David Wayne Stone, 69 of Statham, passed away November 2, 2023. He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico to David "Dan" Stone and Carolyn Thomas Stone on November 19, 1953. He wed Judith "Judy" Guthrie on October 6, 1973, at High Shoals Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Dan & Carolyn Stone. Wayne was a carpenter by trade. He made the Lord Jesus his Savior at a young age and was often seen reading his Bible & praying, thanking God for his family. He was a member of the gospel group Manna in the 90's. Wayne was a proud father to his children & a loving papa to his grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Graveside service is Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 1:30 p. m. at Thomas Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Powers officiating. The family will visit Lord & Stephens, West on Saturday from 11 am - 1:00 pm. He leaves behind his beloved wife and devoted caregiver of 50 years, Judy Stone of Statham, GA; his children; son, Shayne (Jennifer) Stone of High Shoals; daughter, Tanya Stone of Redington Shores, FL & son, Matt (Michelle) Stone of Watkinsville, GA; his precious grandchildren, Jordan, Dustan & Katey Stone, Karrie Eidson, Lindsey Harrison, Marley Cartrette, Kristan Peters, Grant Stone, Breelynn & Brenley Stone; his six great-grandbabies, Drake, Zane, Chloe, Judd, Nellie & Hunter; his sister, Diddie (Rodney) Sheridan of Clearwater, FL, and niece, Hannah (Kurt) Crevier of Clearwater, FL; his mother in law, Joyce Guthrie of Statham, GA as well as numerous sisters and brothers in law and nieces and nephews. Jimmy Delane Phillips, age 71, of Statham, Georgia passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023. He was born in Hoschton to the late Frank and Susie Garrett Phillips. He was a member of East Side Baptist Church. He was a computer monitor for R & R Manufacturing. Jimmy was an avid outdoorsman and he loved hunting and fishing and sitting on the porch. He was selfless and he loved his kids and grandkids. In addition to his parents, Jimmy was predeceased by his brothers: Sanford, Ralph, Jamie, Everett, Melford "Butterbean", and Sam. He is survived by his wife, Linda Cox Phillips; daughters: Tabitha Phillips Brawner of Carnesville, Amy (Joshua) Holbrook of Statham, and Allison (Kenneth) Lee of Statham; grandchildren: Megan (Matthew Weinwurm) Garrett, Dakota (Courtney) Garrett, Noah (Chelsea) Lee, Alicia "Ali" Brawner, Blake Holbrook and Nathan Holbrook; great grandchildren: Ethan Garrett and Emmy Kate Lee; sisters: Edith Galliard of Jefferson, Geneva (E. B. ) Shannon of Jefferson, and Brenda Lott of Hoschton; sisters-in-law: Paula (Cox) Deaton and Linda (Stewart) Cox, both of Winder; several nieces and nephews; and BEST friend, David "Willis" Shedd. Bobbie Nell (Memaw) Dillard, 90, of Statham, passed away on Thursday October 26, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was a lifelong resident of Oconee County. Bobbie was born on April 3, 1933, to Frank and Elizabeth Porterfield. In her early years she enjoyed playing basketball, water skiing, camping with family and friends and going to concerts with most of those being Elvis. She enjoyed her weekly card games with her closest friends. Bobbie was an avid sports fan, and you could find her in front of her television any time that the Braves, Hawks, Falcons and especially her Dawgs were playing. On April 22, 1951, she married her loving husband, Don Dillard, who she met on a blind date. Through this marriage she gained two sisters, Janice Faulkner and Trena Townley. Bobbie and Don had three children, Jeannie, Reggie, and Tina. She also shared a special bond with her sister-in-law, Clarice Porterfield, who was always up for spending the day shopping and enjoying a meal at one of their many favorite spots. Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, brother Niles Porterfield and brother-in-law George Faulkner. She is survived by her two daughters, Jeannie, and Tina. She is also survived by her loving and devoted son-in-law of 52 years, Randy Dawson, a daughter-in-law and favorite hair stylist, Becky Dillard, and son-in-law Mo Kilgore. Grandchildren Adam (Heather), Toby and Charlie (Elese) Dillard, Matt (Paige) Mann and Lane (Ashlan) Smith, TJ (Kelsey) Mobley and Rachel (Tyler) Surrency. Great grandchildren Wyatt, Jeslyn, Brynden, Kayden, Alexia, Ronan, Stephen, Carter, Kinsley, Karsyn, Harper, Gracyn, Kylie, Duke, Cambrie, Sawyer and Walker. In Bobbie's 90 years, she enjoyed many things but most of all she enjoyed being Memaw, not only to her grandchildren but to all that knew her. Her passion for sports was infectious and passed to her grandsons, who have many memories of watching and talking about their favorite teams with their Memaw. You could always find her cheering them on at any sporting activity that they chose. Pallbearers will be her grandsons with Honorary Pallbearers being the Chicks in Action from Ray's Methodist Church. The family would also like to extend sincere thanks to her caregiver and dear friend Susan Wright along with Bessie Smith, Joyce Black and Nikki Ansley. Flowers will be accepted, and memorials can be made to Ray's Methodist Church (1521 Rays Church Rd, Bishop, Ga 30621) or ACTS (130 E Thompson St, Bogart, Ga 30622). Visitation will be at Lord and Stephens West Chapel on October 28th from 6:00 until 8:00. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, October 29th at 4PM at Lord and Stephens West Chapel with Jerry Varnado and Harold Townley officiating.
