On April 30, 2023, Charles gained his wings. Charles was employed at Gary Lighthouse Charter School. Charles was an CNA/HHA for 20 years. He loved to take care of the elderly. Charles was a Basketball Coach for over 10 years. He loved to Mentor & Uplift all of his Players. He was a Great Role Model for his Boys. Everyone Charles came in contact with, he left a lasting & memorable impression. Coach Kelly would do anything for his boys or anyone in need. He had a Heart Of Gold. Chucky will be missed. He was preceded in death by: Grandparents, Uncle, Sister, Brother, Nephews, and close friends. Charles leaves to cherish his memories, 2 Beautiful Daughters, who he Adored since birth: Daja'Niqua L. Kelly and Da'Niyah L. Kelly. Grandson: Rakeem D. Kelly and Granddaughter: Royalty D. Kelly. Mother of his Children: Telicia Porter. Father & Mother: Charles L. Kelly Sr. & Michelle C. Ross. Grandmother: Lorraine Kelly. 4 Sisters: Demetria Kelly, DaWonda Mack (Dorothy), Tenisha Gillespy, Nicole Calhoun. 5 Brothers: Adonis Gillespy (Ciere), James Kelly, Anthony Calhoun, Aarion Mosley, and Davonte Hill.
