Charles Barba Flores age 93 of San Antonio entered Eternal Life on Friday, June 10, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos H. and Lupe (Barba) Flores. Charles is survived by his brother, Dick B. Flores and his wife, Helen; his sister, Sharon Anthony; 2 nieces; and 3 nephews. Charles was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - Stone Oak Ward. He graduated from Brackenridge High School in 1947 and then joined the U. S. Navy and served for three years during the Korean Conflict. While stationed at Pensacola Air and Naval Station, he was a member of the football team. He loved participating in all kinds of sports. When he returned home, he was employed with the Civil Service at San Antonio Air Logistics Center and with the Defense Logistics Agency at Kelly AFB for 40 years until his retirement.
