Cecilia Ann Starkey, 83, of Greenville, passed away on September 9, 2023, in Greenville, Texas. A graveside service will be 2:00 P. M. , Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Hogeye Cemetery in Celeste, Texas with Rev. Brad La Favers officiating. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Starkey was born January 5, 1940, in Cash, Texas, to Lawrence Hagan and Alyne Spicer Hagan-Mulkey. She married Lester F. Starkey in Greenville, Texas, on April 9, 1977. She was a real estate broker and a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church. She is survived by her sister, Linda Mulkey Hopewell; daughters-in-law, Joyce Sumrow, Pam Gooch and husband, Tommy, and Nancy Starkey; grandchildren, Jeremy Sumrow, Jessica Sumrow, Julie Gadlin, Katrina Hagen and husband, Shane, Alisha Wagnor, Misty Garvin and husband, Ronnie, and Jerrod Starkey and wife, Shavell; nineteen great-grandchildren; nieces, Karen McGee and Sharen Ozarowski. She was preceded in death by her husband; sons, Spencer Thomas Sumrow, and Timothy Wayne Sumrow, and Mike Starkey; her parents; and great-granddaughter, Hailey Sumrow.

Ricky Ray Treat, a dedicated truck driver for Black Jack Disposal, Ricky spent his entire life working in sanitation. Ricky was born on February 21, 1969, in Jonesboro, Arkansas and passed away on November 28, 2023. Ricky was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife Thelma Treat and their children Lisa Bowers, Jerry Richardson, Amanda Priest, Ricky Ray Treat Jr. , Christina Treat, and Brandon Treat. Ricky was also blessed with eleven granddaughters and three grandsons who brought immense joy to his life. His family meant everything to him, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Ricky is also survived by his sisters; Karen Loeb, Connie Treat, and Samantha Morgan and his brothers; Cliff and Clay Treat. Not only was Ricky dedicated to his family but he also had a deep passion for a few hobbies that brought him happiness throughout his life. He was a self-proclaimed number one supporter of the Dallas Cowboys Football team and never missed a game. Ricky could be found cheering loudly for his favorite team from the comfort of his living room. Fishing and camping were also among his favorite pastimes as he loved being surrounded by nature and found tranquility beside the water. In addition to that, Ricky enjoyed playing darts and pool with friends and family. While Ricky had an active social life and enjoyed engaging in various activities, he always carried a sense of responsibility towards his work. For many years he worked as a truck driver for Black Jack Disposal where he dedicatedly served to keep our streets clean. Ricky's hard work and commitment in the field of sanitation will always be remembered. A man of loyalty and integrity, Ricky Ray Treat had a heart full of love for those around him. His infectious laughter could light up any room and his warm smile made everyone feel at ease in his presence. Ricky's best friend Bubba "Glen" Wise, and he shared countless memories and adventures together. Their friendship was truly one for the ages. Ricky is preceded in death by his parents Donna Edgar and Donny Treat; brother Tim Treat; his brother-in-law Bob Loeb; and his best friend Bubba "Glen" Wise. Ricky's passing has left a void in the lives of his family and friends that can never be filled. However, it is important to remember the beautiful memories he left behind. It is these memories that will serve as a reminder of his love, kindness, and the joy he brought into the lives of all those who knew him. Mr. De Piazza was born March 27, 1938 in Little Falls, New York to Samuel W. De Piazza and Angela A. Lamanna De Piazza. Anthony married Carmela T. Accardi on April 26, 1959 in Brooklyn, New York, making their home and raising their family in Little Falls, New York. He was the owner and proprietor of an automotive service center known as Sam's Super Service. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Carmela T. (Accardi) De Piazza, daughter Franca M. De Piazza-Eye, and husband (Einar) of Greenville, Texas; son James A. De Piazza and wife (Laura) of Pagosa Springs, Colorado; brother Ronald A. De Piazza and wife (Joanne) of Las Cruces, New Mexico; grandson Vincent A. De Piazza and fiancee (Lori Arion) of Trenton, Texas; grandson Zachariah A. Eye and wife (Ashley) of Little Rock, Arkansas; grandson Joseph A. De Piazza of Nolanville, Texas; and great-granddaughters Bella Eye and Baker Mae Eye; with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Anthony was preceded in death by his father Sam, mother Angie and his brother John. After graduation, Anthony served in the United States Army. A funeral mass will be 3:00 P. M. , Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at St. Williams Catholic Church with Father James Dorman officiating. A rosary will be Monday, December 4, 2023, from 6:00 P. M. to 6:30 P. M, with a visitation following until 8:30 P. M at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. A graveside service will be Friday, December 8, 2023, at 2:30 P. M. , at D/FW National Cemetery. Born on the 20th of March 1933, in Newport News, Warwick County, Virginia, to Sallie May Boone and Joseph Pulliam. Juanita is now reunited in eternity with her parents and brothers, Leamon Boone and Chester Lee Boone. Juanita's journey through life was marked by love, dedication, and service. In 1951, she graduated from Phenix High School in Hampton, Virginia, before uniting in marriage with Leroy Hudson, the love of her life, on June 24, 1951. They shared four sons, two daughters, and a stepdaughter. Together, they embarked on a journey that took them and their family across the globe. She supported Leroy's many deployments in locations such as Hawaii, Okinawa, Philippines, Germany, Minnesota, New Jersey and beyond. Her role as a military wife and homemaker was a source of pride for Juanita, and she found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved a nice cup of hot tea in a pretty teacup or a cup of coffee with enough cream to reflect her complexion. Juanita was an active member of the League of Women Voters, Church Women United, Women's Guild, and the Friendship Tea Group. She believed in helping others, donating to numerous charities and was a staunch advocate for Hunt County Child Protective Services. She was a long-time active member of St. Williams Catholic Church. She loved and found profound joy in teaching 4th-grade CCD for several years at St. Williams. She enjoyed bowling, playing Pokeno and Mexican Train, affectionately referred to as ''Game night'', attending book club, lunch bunch and for a time her weekly Knit/Crochet group at the library. Juanita was a collector of beautiful things, amassing teacups, tea pots, LLADRO, angels and crosses. If you admired something she had, she'd lovingly give it to you and wouldn't. take "no" for an answer. In 1992, the Greenville Herald Banner featured Juanita in an Opinion/Essay by Carol Ferguson, recognizing her as one of the twelve most beautiful people in Greenville. ''Juanita Hudson. . . a joyous smile combined with a fierce devotion to the welfare of abused children. '' Juanita loved people and people loved her. She was approachable, had a beautiful spirit and wasn't afraid to speak her mind. Her husband Leroy meant the world to her and she to him. They were married for over 72 years and loved each other wholeheartedly. She loved her family unconditionally and was always ready to encourage, inspire, console, reprimand and tell her loved ones ''I Love you much. '' She cherished her beloved cats and looked after them with love until she couldn't anymore. She had a special bond with Ed, Rochelle and Regina Sweat, Diane, Sherry, Mary and countless others. In Juanita's eyes, everyone was special in their own way. Juanita is survived by her devoted husband, Leroy Hudson, her sons Leroy, Tony (Rosie), Carl, and Craig, daughters Cynthia Ellis (Fred), Corye Taylor (Charles), and stepdaughter Portia Coleman, daughters-in-law Dale and Merry. Her legacy extends through her grandchildren Colin, Angelique, Shannon, Michael, Krystal, Freddy, Cedric, Charina, Keshawn, step grandchildren Tamara, Ebony, Kwame and Zakia as well as a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, loving family and friends.
