Cathie Newell Obituary

Cathie Lynn Newell, age 75, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born November 30, 1947, in Houston, Texas and was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. She was primarily a homemaker, and she loved children, music and singing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley Brader Wendelken and Alfred "Red" Wendelken, as well as by her brother, Daniel Britton. She is survived by her beloved husband of 31 years, John C. Newell; her son, Mathew R. Loe and his family, Cynthia, Wesley, and Danielle; her daughter, Robin Sanders and her family, Wayne and Rachel; and her son, Brandon Loe and his wife Barb. She is also survived by her brothers, Alfred and Michael, and many other extended family members and friends.
