"CATHERINE LAOUISE QUINNETT 1937 - 2023 Catherine Louise (Berlett) Quinnett age 85 of Omaha, NE passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023 at St. Joseph Villa Nursing Center in Omaha. She was born on May 25, 1937 to Edward Berlett and Anna Susan (Pillar) Berlett in Plattsmouth, NE. Catherine was raised and schooled in Plattsmouth and she graduated from Plattsmouth High School with the Class of 1955. After graduating from high school, Catherine attended and graduated from Cosmetology School in Omaha. She worked as beautician for ten years. Catherine met Charles Arthur Quinnett and they later married on February 21, 1969 in Plattsmouth. Catherine and Charles made home and raised their daughter in Plattsmouth. Catherine worked in Omaha for UNICO (a contractor for the military during WWII) and then she was a cook at St. John The Baptist School in Plattsmouth. Catherine was a lifelong Plattsmouth resident. Catherine is survived by her daughter: Barbara Connor of Flagstaff, AZ and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Edward and Anna Berlett, her husband: Charles Quinnett, four brothers: John, Edward, Thomas, and Theodore, and two sisters: Rita Bartlett and Grace Jones. The Graveside Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 A. M. , on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth. Her Final Resting Place will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth. The family suggests Memorials to the Cystic Fibrosis Association.
