Catherine M. Pointek, 92 of Swoyersville Pa. , with loving family members by her side, peacefully entered Heaven on June 18th, 2022. Born September 7th, 1929, to the late Mary Ann and Paul Peter Pointek, Catherine was a 1951 graduate of College Misericordia. Catherine devoted her entire professional career as a teacher educating young men and women at the Bedminster Public School in Bedminster, NJ. A lifelong member of Holy Trinity (St. Elizabeth Ann Seton) Parish in Swoyersville, Catherine was known for her faith, love of family and her love of Christ serving with both the First Catholic Slovak Union, the Archconfraternity of Christian Mothers and as a Vice President FOSCO delegate for Swoyersville Holy Trinity Senior Citizens. In addition to her parents, Catherine is preceded in death by her sister Bernardine Rishcoff and husband Christopher. Catherine is survived by her loving daughter Theresa Rose Rishcoff and husband Richard Williams, Granddaughter Dominique Rishcoff Boland and husband Sean Boland, and granddaughter Catherine Falzone. Aunt Catherine, as she was known and loved by her many nieces and nephews, is also survived by Christopher Rishcoff and wife Vicky, Mary Rishcoff, Bernard Rischoff and wife Eileen, Bernadine Richcoff and husband Jim Kurtz, Kathleen (Rishscoff) and husband Brian Ehrig, Paul Rishcoff, Michael and Cheryl Rishcoff and their families. Funeral services are in the care of Graziano Funeral Home Inc. , Pittston Twp. , PA. Viewing hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 5-8pmFuneral service will begin at the funeral home Thursday at 8:45am. Those who plan on attending are asked to be at the funeral home not later than 8:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Swoyersville, PA, Thursday at 10am.
