Martha Ann (Barrow) Kritzberger, age 80, passed away, peacefully at her home in Levittown, Pennsylvania on February 25, 2024. Born to Jesse R. and Vondell Barrow of Glennville, Georgia. Martha lived her youthful years in Lake Monroe, Florida where she also met her husband Howard L. Kritzberger Sr. and had 61 years of memories together. Martha had three children, Howard L Kritzberger Jr. (Kimberly), Vondell Schools (Andrew), and Sandra Kinney (Patrick). She was also blessed with 10 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Martha worked as a nursing assistant for many years. This was not a job to her. It was a calling. Her compassion for others was plentiful. Martha spoke of her years at the hospital and the friends she had made along the way far into her retirement. Martha loved the outdoors, at her piece of heaven on earth, her cabin. The joy of watching the hummingbirds from her porch swing or the “chippies” scampering around filled her with peace. Martha’s love for all life was beautiful. She did not even mind an occasional bear borrowing the dog bed on the front porch. Everyone could expect Martha to offer up a glass of sweet tea and a seat on the swing. Family and friends are invited to Martha's Life Celebration on Friday, March 1, 2024, from 11 AM - 1 PM, followed by her Funeral Service at 1 PM, at the Beck-Givnish Life Celebration Home, 7400 New Falls Rd., Levittown, PA 19055. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA. Levittown, PA

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Janice Toia, who peacefully left this world surrounded by her family in her home on February 22, 2024. Janice was a loving wife, mother, Yia Yia, sister, and friend. She cared deeply for her family, friends, and community and will be greatly missed by all who knew her warm smile, sharp mind, and beautiful spirit. Janice was happiest digging her toes into the sand on Long Beach Island and spending time at home with the people she loved. She was a voracious reader, with a meticulous command of words. She always knew just the thing to say, write, or play on the Scrabble board for a game-winning triple word score. She made us smile with her tenderness and double over in laughter with her wit. A great appreciator of art, craft, design, and classical music, Janice’s own creativity poured out of her onto anything she touched, making even the ordinary days a little bit extraordinary. Janice was preceded in death by her father, George, mother, Ann, and little bichon frisé, Henri. She is survived by her loving husband, Joe; children, Mattie (Annah) and Julianne; grandchildren, Phoebe and Daphne; sister, Helene (Ken); as well as her cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and countless dear friends. Visitation with Janice’s family will be held at Givnish of Buckingham Funeral Home (4886 York Road, Buckingham, PA 18912) on Tuesday, February 27 from 6 PM to 8 PM.
