Carolyon Sue Preece Jarrell 74, of Inez, KY went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV. She was born in Martin County on February 23, 1948 to the late Lorenz "Babe" And Mae Moore Preece. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Danny D. Jarrell. Carolyon is survived by her daughter, Christina (Tracy) Butcher, three grandchildren, Macy Butcher, Tracy Eli Butcher and Danny Lucas Butcher. She is also survived by four siblings, Robert "Bob" (Phyllis) Preece of Louisa, KY, Ronald Dean (Ruth) Preece, Larry Douglas (Phyllis) Preece both of Inez, KY and Gregory Lynn (Judy) Preece of Frankfort, KY. She was a member of the Buck Branch United Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at the Callaham Funeral Home in Inez, KY with Daybo Stacy and Bubby Stacy officiating. Burial will follow at the Mountain Valley Memorial Gardens in Inez, KY. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00-9:00pm with special services at 7:00pm.
