Carolyn Jane Bloodworth, age 69, of Hot Springs, died Thursday, April 25, 2019. She was born on March 5, 1950, in Waldron, the daughter of Lyn Allen James and Lila Rook Hale James. On August 26, 1969, she married Louis "Russ" Bloodworth. She was preceded in death by her father; and one grandson, Tom Suta, Jr. Carolyn was a Christian in faith. She served for 20 years for the United States Post Office and retiring as the Postmaster in Oden. Carolyn enjoyed gardening, fishing and sewing, but most of all, she enjoyed her family. She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed. She is survived by her mother, Rook James of Blue Ball; her husband, Louis "Russ" Bloodworth of Hot Springs; one son, James (Misty) Bloodworth of Hot Springs; three daughters, Suzanne Suta of Hot Springs, Jeanne (Chris) Carmack of Mount Ida and Leslie (Adam Aubuchon) Bloodworth of Hot Springs; seven grandchildren, Jessica Suta, Kelli Suta, Brandon Carmack, Hunter Jones, Brooke Jones, Emmi Aubuchon and Jacob Johnson; one great-grandson, Owen Carmack; one brother, Allen (Desiree) James of Blue Ball; two sisters, Linda (Larry) Williams of Waltreak and Patty (Larry) Boren of Boles; nieces, nephews and a host of wonderful friends. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 29, 2019, at Hunt Cemetery near Waldron with Rev. Pat Millard officiating. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
