Together, they raised a family that became Patricia's pride and joy: her children Diane Heil, John (Ila) Heil, and Mark (Kay) Heil. Her role as a mother was one she treasured deeply, and she embraced it with every fiber of her being. Her love extended beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of her seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Each of them was a precious addition to her world, and she cherished every moment spent in their company. Rosetna (Massey) Mayse, 83, of Lakeland, Florida entered fully into the presence of the Lord on December 12, 2023. Rosetna was born in Evansville, Indiana on January 8th, 1940 to the late Joseph Sr. and Rose Massey. She lived on the west side and attended Mater Dei High School. She married her husband Gerald (Foo Foo) Mayse, Sr. in 1957. After raising five children together, Rosetna received her nursing degree from Vincennes University at 50 years of age. Rosetna and Gerald built their dream home on Lake Helmerich in Huntingburgh, Indiana where they spent their days enjoying the woods, cooking and fishing. They were married for nearly 50 years until he lost his battle with cancer in 2004. Rosetna was eager to explore every corner of the world and often took trips with friends and family. She spent her last years in sunny Lakeland, Florida where her heart was the happiest. She will be greatly missed for her quick wit, her love for card games and candy, and her warm, contagious laugh. Rosetna was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Massey Jr. and her sister, Nancy Lee. She is survived by three sons, Gerald (Lori) Mayse Jr., Kenneth Mayse, and David Mayse; two daughters, Shelley Buchanan and Tamara Weber; siblings Carl (Rosalie) Massey, Alice Sears, Yvonne Sue (Bob) Schuster, and Kimberly (Ron) Imel; eight grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel - 2200 Mesker Park Drive, Evansville, Indiana. Public visitation will begin at 10am and the service will begin at 12pm. The celebration will continue for close family and friends at the American Legion Post #8 - 6001 New Harmony Road Evansville, Indiana. Flowers and memorial contributions may be sent to Alexander West Chapel.

Professionally, Catherine dedicated many years of service as a secretary with the Internal Revenue Service. Her retirement marked the end of a respected career but also the beginning of new opportunities to engage with her passions and her faith. A devout member of the Greek Orthodox Church, Catherine's faith was the cornerstone of her existence. She lived a faith-filled life, embodying the principles of her beliefs through her actions and gentle guidance. She will be greatly missed. Services will be held at a later date in North Carolina.

His entrepreneurial spirit guided him throughout his life, as he pursued various ventures with dedication and passion. Outside of his business realm, Alvin found immense joy in spending time with his beloved family. Al had a passion for many hobbies that brought him both relaxation and fulfillment. Whether he was tinkering in his garage, constructing his beloved train village, piloting model planes through the skies, or immersing himself in the world of coin collecting, Al was always active and enjoying life. In addition to his accomplishments and interests, Alvin's life was marked by bravery and service, as exemplified by his service as a Korean War veteran, where he fearlessly flew planes in defense of his country.Alvin was preceded in death by his first wife and loving mother of his children, Angie, three sons: Roy, David, and Chuck Arnold, and a daughter Debbie Arnold.He is survived by his wife, Rosetta; his son Bobby Arnold; daughters, Sherrol (Floyd Rutherford) Arnold and Robin (Chuck) Beckham; daughter-in-law, Sherrie Kingma; 31 grandchildren; and numerous extended family members and dear friends.“As we mourn our loss, we celebrate a life well-lived—a life characterized by resilience, passion, and unwavering love for family. Terry Hunter left this world to return to the arms of his Lord and Savior, after waging a longtime valiant fight against Parkinson’s DiseaseHe was born in Gainesville, Florida to William P. and Alice Mae Hunter. He grew up in Gainesville and Plant City, Florida, and graduated from Plant City High School. He served in the United States Army and is a Vietnam veteran.He completed his Master’s Degree in Architecture at the University of Florida and maintained an office as an architect in Bartow, Florida before moving his practice to Lakeland in the last few years before his retirement.He had a strong interest in historic preservation and served as president of Historic Lakeland, Inc. several years ago. He was a member of the Bartow Rotary Club and is a Paul Harris Fellow. He and his wife have been members of First United Methodist Church for almost 50 years, and he served in a number of ministries there, including the Chancel Choir and the Searches Class.Terry is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 54 years, Bettye, and his son Brantley; his two brothers, Mace (Jan) and Bill (Terry); his sister, Peggy Smith (Steve), as well as several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.There will be a memorial service at First United Methodist Church of Lakeland on Thursday, March 07, 2024, at 11:30 am.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Music Department or the Christian Education Department of the First United Methodist Church, 72 Lake Morton Drive, Lakeland, 33801.Condolences may be sent to the family at www.heathfuneralchapel.com.
