Carol Sinon Obituary

Carol Erardi Sinon, 83, of Meriden, died Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Middlesex Hospital. She was the loving wife of 51 years of the late Charles P. Sinon. Carol was born in Meriden, July 2, 1940, a daughter of the late Nicholas V. and Bertha (Filanowski) Erardi. Carol was a lifelong resident of Meriden who enjoyed telling stories of her life growing up on Murray Street. She was in the first class to graduate from Maloney High School and prided herself on raising her three children, caring for her home and her beloved pets. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed dining and shopping in the region and spending time with her family. Many thanks to her care giver Kathleene Winiarski and her skilled physician Tatiana Feld and cardiologist John Dinkler. She is survived by her son, Stephen P. Sinon of Bronx, NY; her daughter Patti A. Jones of Tampa, FL; her grandchildren, Andrew Sinon, and Brandon and Megan Bene; her great granddaughter, Emberlee Sinon; and her sister, Nancy Kost of Homosassa, FL. She was predeceased by her son, Scott Sinon, and her grandson, Nicholaus Sinon. Carol's family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext. , Friday, September 15th, from 2pm until 4pm, followed by a service at 4pm in the funeral home.
