Carol Schultz Obituary

Carol Y. Schultz, age 85, of Reedsburg, WI, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at the Wisconsin Dells Health Services. She was born on April 6, 1938, the daughter of Gordon and Jesse (Vanderhoek) Redman. Carol was a member of St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, Reedsburg. Carol was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Reedsburg Memorial Hospital for 12 years until 1987 when she moved to Santa Monica, CA and worked as a Podiatry Assistant for Dr. BoyKoff, until she retired in 2009 and moved back to Reedsburg. Carol was a very social person who enjoyed time with her friends, dressing to the nines, but most of all, making people laugh. In her hey-day she appreciated music and loved to dance! However, above all, Carol loved her children, (fur) grandchildren, especially her (fur) grandson, Craycrae and was a great mom! She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Wayne Redman; sister-in-law, Arla; and her nephews, Stephen Redman. Carol is survived by her son, Scott Chandler of Schaumburg, IL; daughter, Shelley Schultz (Ron Dion) of Reedsburg; 'grandson', Craycrae; 'granddaughter', Iggy; along with nieces, nephews, and other relatives and numerous friends. A memorial service for Carol will be conducted at 11:00 A. M. on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church in Reedsburg, with Pastor Paul Crolius officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:30 A. M. until the time of the service. Memorials of remembrance may be made to St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in lieu of flowers. The Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, is assisting the family.
