Carl Matthew Monday was born on October 1, 1976, in Bethesda, MI. Carl accepted Christ at an early age. He attended Lincoln High School in Ypsilanti, MI for his high school education, and Sienna Heights University in Adrian, MI for college. On February 5, 2003, Carl joined the United States Navy and was honorably discharged on May 19, 2008. Later in life he moved to Las Vegas, NV. Then on New Years Day of 2017, Carl married the love of his life, Laura Ramlogan. To this union they were blessed with two beautiful children: on January 1, 2017, in Las Vegas, NV. Throughout the years, Carl enjoyed a variety of hobbies such as cooking, gardening, collecting sports and fantasy cards, gaming, and reading. He was also blessed with two wonderful children, Cyle and Cara. On Saturday, September 2, 2023, Carl departed this life. Proceeding him in death was his birth mother, Marsha McCloud. Carl is survived by his wife, Laura Ramlogan; son, Cyle Monday; daughter, Cara Monday; father, Darrell Monday, mom, Tamela Monday, and brother, Jacob Monday. No services will be held in honor of Carl. Friends and family are encouraged to express their condolences to the family by calling to check on them.

Born on August 30, 1950, in Texas, John was the son of John Jimenez and Herminia Chacon. John's love for being a handyman and his eagerness to help others defined his life. Whether it was working on cars, computers, or lending a helping hand to those in need, John was always there with a smile on his face. He possessed a natural talent for fixing things and enjoyed the satisfaction of providing assistance to his friends and family. Although John dedicated most of his working years as a forklift driver in the warehouse industry, his true calling and greatest joy came from being a grandpa. He cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren, creating precious memories that will forever remain in their hearts. John's warm personality and genuine compassion touched the lives of everyone he met. He was known for his humble nature, always putting the needs of others before his own. His selflessness and ability to make people feel comfortable and loved will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. John leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. He is survived by his loving spouse, Susan Turrubiate, who was his pillar of strength throughout their years together. Their unwavering bond was a source of inspiration to all who knew them. In Loving Memory of Sharon Lou Daileda Sharon Lou Daileda, a beloved resident of Las Vegas, NV, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. She was 81. Born in Wichita Falls, Kansas, to Leonard and Wenona (Hass) Vanderhoofven, Sharon's journey brought her to Las Vegas during her elementary school years. She graduated from Rancho High School in 1961 and pursued her passion for fashion by attending a design school in Los Angeles, CA. In 1963, she married Anthony "Big Tony" Daileda, and together, they embarked on a journey that included raising four boys and establishing a world-renowned western-themed BBQ catering company. On August 11, 1987, Sharon faced an unimaginable loss with the passing of her beloved son, Michael. Later, on May 19, 2011, she bid farewell to her loving husband, Big Tony. Despite the heartbreak, Sharon continued to find strength in her family and the cherished memories they created together. She is survived by her three devoted sons: Anthony F. Daileda, Jr. , and his wife Barbara of Henderson, NV; Dominic Daileda and his wife Sandi of Beatty, NV; and Benjamin Daileda and his wife Esther of Las Vegas, NV. Sharon leaves behind a legacy of love and family, including seven grandchildren who called her "Bon": Julia, Anthony III, Ella, Atsina, Yanu, Bailee, and Michael, as well as three great-grandchildren: Kenlynn, Raelynn, and Aiden. In addition to her immediate family, Sharon is survived by her brother, Max, and his wife, Karen Vanderhoofven of San Diego, CA, and numerous nieces and nephews who will forever remember her smile and caring soul. Sharon Lou Daileda's life was a testament to the enduring power of love, family, and faith in Jesus. She will be deeply missed by her sons, grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know her, as they will always keep her safely tucked in their hearts. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to those who mourn her passing. As Sharon would always say, "God Be With You". In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice in Sharon Lou Daileda's name. Visitation will be from 2 PM to 4 PM, Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119. A funeral mass will be recited at 10:45 AM, Monday, December 11, 2023, at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic, 2300 Sunridge Heights Pkwy, Henderson, NV 89052 with interment to follow at Davis Memorial Park.Show more
