"Nita," as she was called, was born February 3, 1963, in Plant City, Florida to the parents of Robert L. Brown and Margaret Ruth Adams. She was raised in Trilby, Florida by her great-grandmother Lizzie Nivins Welsby, her great aunt Lizzie D. Johnson and her grandmother Cleo Brown Byrd. She attended elementary and high school in Pasco and Hernando Counties. With the completion of two Associate of Arts Degrees from Pasco Hernando Community College in Dade City, Florida and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Middle Grade Education from St. Leo College in San Antonio, Florida, she was employed for 25 years in the Pasco County School System. She was a member of Glorious COGIC in Trilby Florida under the leadership of Elder Philip T. Williams. It was there that her servant's heart led her to become an avid worker in the Lord's vineyard. Nita was also the Owner and CEO of "Carie da Bling Queen Jewels. " This Paparazzi Accessories company adorned numerous with bling and splendor. Nita was preceded in death by her father and mother: Robert L. Brown and Margaret Ruth Adams; her grandparents, Johnny Brown, Sr. and Cleo Brown Byrd; and her siblings, Helen M. Brown, Mark Anthony Scott, and Eugene Adams. Her earthly departure has caused sentiments of anguish and grief among her sons, DeMarkriis E. Boles and DeVon R. Hicks; grandson:,DeCari R. Hicks; brothers and sisters, Johnny L. Brown, Lisa Brown, Anthony Brown, Mary N. Brown, Sean Brown, Stacey Boyce (Gary) and Roberta Brown; nieces and nephews, Antwion Peyton Brown, Abigail Peyton, Auvey Peyton, Amaya Peyton, and Ayrie Peyton; one who became like a mother, Mrs. Neudie Scott; bonus sisters, Betty Davis, Regina Clemmons, Linda Cony, Elvira Lee, Sheila Scott, and Monica Russ; cousin sisters, Maxine Waddell and Cynthia Robinson; cousin brothers, Frank Johnson, Rodney Johnson and Roger Johnson; god children, Shalonda Harris, Shaquandra O'Neil, Devorian Brown, Alysa Black, Antwanique Blaine, Eunique Byrd, Johnny Payton, and Terry Woodard. With an inherent "Midas' Touch," Nita perpetuated and created many golden relationships not only in the Pasco community but beyond in other communities and states; thus, there are still countless other family and friends who also sorrow. On Sunday, September 3rd, as she gathered family and other beloved ones around her, Carie Denise "Nita" Brown lay serene and ever listening for the Savior's call. The call came on that day at 7:20 PM. As evidenced by her life and by her own testimony, Carie Denise "Nita" Brown died in Christ. As further evidenced by 1 Thessalonians 4, "The Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first. . . " And on that wonderful day, Nita will hear His voice again: "Rise up Carie Denise "Nita" Brown, RISE UP!"

Braulio "Yogi" Aranda, age 82, of Pasco, Washington passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 26, 2023, at Coralito's Adult Family Home in Pasco, where he was lovingly cared for over the past 2 years. Braulio was born in Purisima, Coahuila, Mexico on March 25, 1941, to Trinidad and Petra (Acevedo) Aranda. He married the love of his life, Elida "Betina" Isabel Torres on August 31, 1957. Braulio worked for Balcom and Moe, Inc. as a night shift foreman for 20 years. He loved to garden, travel, and go to the casino. He also loved to watch the Seattle Mariners. Braulio was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, his four siblings: Armando Aranda, Abel Aranda, Maria Rodriguez, Juan Manuel Aranda, and his son Guadalupe "Wally" Aranda. He is survived by his son, Jose "Leo" (Marcy) Aranda, his daughters, Graciela (Donald Sr) Bell, Manuela "Nally" Aranda, and his daughter-in- law, Deanna Aranda. A brother-in-law, Lico Torres, four sister-in-law's, Tomasa Aranda, Amada Torres, Juanita Montelongo of Sunnyside, WA and Mela Montes of Del Rio, TX. 12 grandchildren; Fanessa Bell, Marcus (Christina) Aranda, DJ (Jasmine) Bell, Eric (Sara) Aranda, Megan (Robby) Matus, Aaron (Maribel) Bell, Matthew (Mariela) Lopez, Marcy Lopez, Jason Lopez, Ricky Perez, Mazie Aranda, and Brooke Aranda. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and by many cousins, nieces, and nephews who have fond memories of him. God has called into his loving kingdom his son, Abel Cervantes, at the age of 45, on October 31st, 2023, in West Covina, CA. He was born on July 2, 1978, in Mexico, to Guadalupe and Maria Cervantes. At a very young age, he was brought to Pasco, WA where he spent most of his life alongside his family and friends. As you may already know Abel lived life to the fullest finding pleasure in the simple things such as being out in nature, fishing, camping, mountain biking, singing, and thrift shopping. His energy was radiant bringing much happiness to all those around him. He enjoyed cooking and drinking a beer or two with great company which was what mattered most to him, making memories with his loved ones. Recently, Abel decided to start a new adventure and relocated to West Covina to work as a commercial fire system inspector for the county of Los Angeles. He took his work very seriously showing a display of encouragement and positivity towards all his co-workers. Despite being shortened with time, he was extremely proud of his children watching them grow into the young adults they are today. Abel is survived by his children Stephanie Cervantes and Abel (pax) Cervantes, parents, sisters Sandra Cervantes and Lupe Cervantes, and brother Oscar Cervantes, nieces, nephews, and many cousins. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. We will be having a viewing and rosary on Thursday, November 9th at Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home at 6:00 PM. It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Ryan DesChane of Pasco, WA. Ryno to all who knew him. Ryan was 60 years old and passed peacefully on October 15th, 2023 at Kadlec hospital of injuries sustained from a fall and subsequent stroke. He was surrounded by his family and friends. Ryan was full of life and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved river rafting, truck pulls, horseback riding, camping, and diving. You name it and Ryan probably tried it. He was extremely talented and created extraordinary metal artwork. Many of us are lucky to be the recipients of his beautiful creations. For the past 18 years, Ryan was the go-to guy at his job working as a Millwright for Battelle. His coworkers remember him as a hard-working, master problem solver. "Ryno could fix anything". Ryan was a happy go lucky guy, who made friends wherever he went. He had the kindest heart and gave to his friends and family whenever possible. We will all miss his laugh, his smile, but mostly his heart. Ryan is preceded in death by his father Darrell F DesChane and his sister Vicki L DesChane. Ryan is survived by his mother C. M. "Pat" DesChane, brother Mike DesChane (Monique), nephew Garren DesChane (Lizzy), great niece Madison DesChane, niece Brynne Bolson (Nigel), great nieces Shay, Morgan, and Haley Bolson and nephew Preston DesChane (Terrin). Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 4th,10:00 AM at Resthaven Cemetery in Richland, WA.
