"Calvin G. Ingram, 85, of Aurora, Illinois passed away on May 7, 2023 at 2:53 pm. He was born on January 18, 1938 in Pontiac, Illinois, the son of George and Agnes (Kelly) Ingram. He was united in marriage on January 25, 1958 at St. Columba Catholic Church in Ottawa, Illinois to the former Mary Jo Brownfield. Calvin was a graduate of the class of 1956 from Ottawa Twp. High School in Ottawa. He owned the Calvin G. Ingram Insurance Agency from 1958 to 2009 and the Calvin G. Ingram Tax Preparation Service from 1966 until 2008. He was one of the founders and first president of the Aurora Area Girls Softball Association, Inc. in 1971. Calvin coached girls softball for thirty four years. He is survived by his children, Jacqueline (David) Elliott of Aurora, Christine Ingram of Independence, MO. , Kevin (Ann) Ingram of East Greenwich, R. I. , Robin (Christopher) Watts of Romeoville, Il. , Grant (Jane Ellen) Ingram of Havelock, N. C. , Garth (Debra) Ingram of Oswego, Il. , Victor Ingram of Norfolk, Va. , Darrin Ingram of Aurora, and Erin Ingram of Romeoville, Il. ; his grandchildren, Katherine (Michael) Denci, Zachary, Meghan, Emily, Michael, Grace, Lucas, Trevor Ingram, Samantha, Alexandra, and Logan Watts; his great grandchildren, Noah and Emma Denci and Aemon and Audrey Nevins; brother, Ronald Ingram; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jo; daughter, Kathleen in childhood; son, Bruce Ingram; brother, James Ingram; sister, Joy Brust; his special grandchild Jack Chmielniak; his great grandchild, Landyn Ingram; and his parents. Funeral service will begin Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 10:30 AM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N Lake Street, Aurora. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
