Buena Kay Hatch, 74, passed away on June 19, 2022 at the Laurels of Milford in Milford, OH. She was born in Cincinnati to Harold Johnson and Elizabeth Repetto Johnson on January 14, 1948. Buena attended Newport High school and completed a GED program through Northern Kentucky University. She worked at her father's store, Harold's Jug House, performing many clerical duties. She was a member for many years at St. John's United Church of Christ in Newport. Buena married David Hatch in 1975 and together they spent 47 years serving in the church. Buena and David shared a love for dogs, and had three of their own, Henry, Pepper, and Jake; as well as many dogs they cared for and looked after while dog sitting. Buena is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, David Hatch. A visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, Monday, June 27, 2022 at Dobbling, Muehlenkamp - Erschell Funeral Home, Newport. A service will follow the visitation at 12:00 PM at the funeral home, Newport. Burial will take place in the Evergreen Cemetery Southgate, Kentucky.
