Bryan Allan Whitson, 61, of Madisonville, KY passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at his residence. He was born November 11, 1961 in Great Lakes, IL to Robert Whitson of Lake St. Louis, MO. He was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Smith Whitson, and one nephew. Bryan worked as an electrician for Coletrane. He loved riding his Harley, in addition to hunting, camping, and fishing in Bennett Springs, MO. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by; one daughter, Chelsea (Justin) Cooper of Ft. Branch, IN; two sons, Tyler (Eyvette) Whitson and Blake Whitson of Madisonville; one sister, Michele (Chad) Colvin of Lake of the Ozarks, MO; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Saturday October 14, 2023 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9:00 A. M. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial Donations may be made to Barnett-Strother Funeral Home in honor of Bryan.

Daniel Louis Williamson, 72, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023 at his residence. He was born on February 27, 1951 in East St. Louis, IL to the late Daniel Shaw Williamson and Clara Charlotte Little Williamson. He served as a SGT in the 82nd Airborne. He was a graduate of the University of Kentucky and had degrees in forestry and reclamation. Over the course of his professional career, he worked for the Kentucky Division of Forestry as a service forester and as the Pennyrile District Forester, for Peabody Energy as an environmental specialist, for Kentucky Reclamation Association as field director, and for Colorado State University as an inventory forester at Ft. Campbell. He enjoyed everything outdoors, hiking, fishing, camping, hunting, and boating. He coached many of his children's youth sports teams. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Madisonville. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Betty Williamson; one daughter, Helen (Andrew) Muse of Lexington, KY; two sons Daniel (Lisa) Williamson of Plato, MO and Jack (Lauren) Williamson of St. Charles, MO; a sister Jennifer Cosby of Paducah, KY. He is also survived five grandsons Oswald, Maks, Dominic, Henry, and Charles who were is pride and joy. Dan hated the thought of anyone mourning him and wished instead to have people celebrate his life. Per his wishes his family will host a celebration of his life in the spring with a keg and BBQ. Lorene Gaye Gentry White walked peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at the home of her son in Cerulean, Kentucky. Grandma Gaye, as she was affectionately known by her grandchildren, was born August 21st, 1938 in Madisonville, Kentucky to her parents Raymond P. and Catherine Gentry. She resided in Crofton, Kentucky with the love of her life, Robert Wayne "Bob" White. Lorene, a dedicated homemaker, derived immense joy from playing pranks, especially on her easygoing husband, Bob. Her infectious laughter and mischievous spirit were constants in the lives of those around her. She held a deep admiration for her children and grandchildren, relishing every moment spent with them. Additionally, her daily phone conversations with her twin sister, Faye, were cherished opportunities for connection. Surviving Lorene are her devoted husband, Robert Wayne White, and four sons: Floyd Ray Forbes, Jr. (Susan), Melvin Thomas Forbes (Michelle), Randall Keith Forbes (Dawn), and Albert Daniel Forbes (Sonya). She leaves behind a legacy in her ten grandchildren: TJ Forbes, Amanda Forbes, Jerry Forbes, Daniel Forbes, Carol Ann Kursave, Nichole Forbes, Elijah Forbes, and Abby-Grace Forbes, along with several great-grandchildren. Lorene is also survived by her twin sister, Florene Faye Gentry Alexander, her sisters, Evelyn Graham Rivet, Deborah Carrol and Louise Rickard, brothers Raymond Earl, Terry, Sammy, and Lonnie Gentry, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, several siblings, and two grandchildren. Services commemorating Lorene's life will take place at 10:00 A. M. Monday, November 27, 2023 at Barnett Strother Funeral Home, 2285 N Main St, Madisonville, KY, with Reverend Bencie Rasnake officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 P. M. until 5:00 P. M. Sunday, November 26th, and from 9:00 A. M. until service time Monday, November 27th at the funeral home. Following the services, she will be laid to rest in Ridge Top Cemetery, Crofton, Kentucky. Rev. Richard E. Sisk, 89, of Madisonville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at his home surrounded by family. Rev. Sisk was born August 31, 1934, in Webster County to the late Wallace E. Sisk and Ola Mae Young Sisk Hicks. He enjoyed preaching, ministering to others, singing, playing guitar and leading worship. As a teenager he recorded his first gospel record. In addition, he worked in various sales positions and as a realtor in the community. He was a Kentucky Colonel. Rev. Sisk became a minister of the gospel and preached his first sermon at the age of twenty-two at the Coiltown Holiness Church. He is responsible for relocating and building the Crofton Pentecostal Church, relocating and building the Lone Star Pentecostal Church where he pastored for seventeen years, and founding and building the present Praise Temple Apostolic Church. After his retirement from full- time ministry, he remained a member of Praise Temple Apostolic Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Clifford Sisk. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Virginia Sue Sisk, daughter Beverly S. Clark (Woody) of Madisonville, and son David W. Sisk (Darlaine) of Jupiter, Florida; grandsons Quentin Clark and Jordan Sisk (Jessie); granddaughters Kelsey Sisk and Victoria Sisk; great-grandchildren Allen Clark, Colby Clark, Alexander Clark, Addison Clark, Remi Sisk and Blake Sisk; several nieces, nephews and cousins. We would like to thank the physicians and staff of 3 West and 5th Floor of Baptist Health Deaconess Hospital and the staff of Hosparus Health Western Kentucky for their loving care for both him and the family. In addition, we want to thank Doug Arnold and Sherry Jackson for their care and faithfulness. The funeral service will be held 1:00 P. M. Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Praise Temple Apostolic Church with Pastor Philip Cook, officiating. David Sisk and Rev. Tommy Bogle will assist. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Kellie Pate, 60, of Madisonville, KY passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at her residence in Madisonville. She was born May 31, 1963 in Hammond, IN. Daughter of the late Stanley and Loretta Wall Watts and the late Pete Faught. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Stanley "Stoshie" Watts, Terry Watts, and John Faught; and sister, Peggy Faught. Kellie was a member of Richland Baptist Church. Her joys in life were going to any of her kid's, grandkid's, or niece's and nephew's sporting events, camping with family, and gardening. She was known best for her chicken and dumplings and when she wasn't spoiling her grandkids, she loved riding her motorcycle. She is survived by her children, Grant (Brittany) Pate of Dawson Springs, KY, Billy (Autumn) Pride of White Plains, KY, Kellene (Steve) Pepple of Ft. Wayne, IN, Tabitha (Charles) Beringer of Madisonville, and William (Ashley) Pate of Manitou, KY; sisters, Judy (Brian) Rosasco and Kim (Jared) Mayoh; brothers, Kenny (Lisa) Watts, Rodney (Sherry) Watts, and Tommy "Chubbs" (Becky) Watts; sister-in-law, Sara Watts; along with fifteen grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P. M. Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home Madisonville Chapel with Bro. Jim Lantrip officiating.
