| | | | Obituary for Bruce Dennis Israels Bruce Dennis Israels, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, in Georgetown, Texas. He was born to Clifford and Margaret Israels on November 16, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois. Bruce is survived by his wife of nearly 70 years, Cottie Bell Israels. Also surviving Bruce are his daughters, Deborah Wheat (Larry) and Sandra Staton (Charles); his sons, Kenneth Israels (Jill) and Allan Israels (Trina); his brother, Harvey; his sister, Joan Muniz (Tony); his grandchildren, Seanna, Laura, Heather, Hillerie, Takashi, Kenji, Tetsuo, and Kaitlin; his great-granddaughters, Tatumn, Taryn and Ember; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. His parents, his son - Eric, and his sister-in-law - Donna, predeceased him. Bruce was a retired Master Machinist, having worked with his family in their small job shops in Pasadena, CA and Phoenix, AZ before moving to Georgetown, TX where he opened his own machine shop, Crown Screw Products. He also commuted from Georgetown to California weekly for many years to work for ITT Cannon and Bertea Parker Hannifin. He was proud of his occupation and was eager to train the younger generation with his skills, talent and knowledge. In his younger days, Bruce enjoyed flying his Cessna 150 and racing go-carts and stock cars. Bruce always said - "Growing old is fun!" and "I am going to live to be 120!" God has His plans for him now.
