Bruce David Crabtree, 58, of Union Township, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019 at his residence. He was born July 17, 1960 in Canton, OH, son of Shirley Kay Pringle Crabtree of West Chester and the late Clyde Edward Crabtree. He was the widower of the late Barbara Boldt Crabtree, who passed away in 2016. Bruce loved his sports, especially the Cincinnati Bengals and Reds. He was a connoisseur of knowledge and great recall memory. He was very charismatic and loved to go on vacations with his late wife, Barbara. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Dave (Misty) Carpenter and Kevin (Chrissy) Carpenter; grandchildren, Mikayla, Jordan, Dillon and Allie; one great-grandchild on the way; brother, Scott (Liz) Crabtree; sister, Traci (Kelly) Davis; 5 nieces and nephews and 1 great-nephew. Bruce will be cremated. A memorial gathering will be held Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at 3:00 PM, with memorial service to follow at 3:30 PM at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, 177 W. Main St., Amelia, Ohio.
