Bruce Lee Barnes passed from this life on August 11, 2023, at the age of 62 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Bruce was born on February 11, 1961, in Riverside, California; the son of Eddie and Peggy Strothman Barnes. Bruce moved with his family to Prattville where he began his education, later graduating from Miami High School with the Class of 1979. Bruce was united in marriage to Teresa Ann Kraus at the Fairland First United Methodist Church. Bruce and Teresa resided in the Tulsa area for many years before moving to Terlton, Oklahoma in 2009. Bruce worked for Ready Ice as a supervising engineer at several of their facilities. Bruce has spent the last several years cowboying in New Mexico. Bruce enjoyed working, blacksmithing, working with leather and being outdoors. Survivors include his significant other Marilyn Flaherty of the home, two brothers Mike Barnes of Oklahoma, Dave Barnes and his wife Cheryl of Gatesville, Texas and a host of other relatives and friends. Bruce was preceded in death by his father Eddie Barnes, mother Peggy Orrell, one son Keith Lee Barnes, wife, Teresa and stepfather Bob OrrellMemorial services will be held at a later date. Entombment of the cremated remains will be held in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Mannford, Oklahoma under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements. "John Laurence Tyler was born to Henry and Evelyn Tyler, on December 26, 1940, in Farmington, New Mexico. He has resided in Pennsylvania, Temple, City, CA, West Covina, CA, El Monte, CA and for the last 20 years in Lake Forest, CA. He was truly a \u0026quot;Jack of All Trades\u0026quot;. He\u0027s been a commercial truck driver, owned multiple businesses, from Auto Electric to Auto Pawn, to a Car Lot and was even a Real Estate Agents as well as taught automotive classes at Rio Hondo College. His true passion was working on vehicles and restoring classic cars. He thoroughly enjoyed going to the car shows with his friends. John fought his battle against different types of cancer for the last several years. Despite spending much of that time in and out of the hospital the last several years, he never lost his sense of humor. Throughout his entire journey, he cracked jokes, made silly faces to Marilyn, Jacki and his friends, he even pulled some lighthearted pranks on the nurses. He had a great ability to make others smile and his sense of humor that will truly be missed. John is survived by his life partner Marilyn Tomsha, his daughter Jacki Lynn Tyler-Moxley, his son-in-law Tom Moxley, Jr and his granddaughter Brianna. John\u0027s family will host a funeral service on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 10 a. m. The service will be held at Preston and Simons Mortuary in Riverside, CA. Anna Jane Stribrny, 89, of Riverside, CA, passed away on November 20, 2023 in Riverside, CA. She was born on December 29, 1933, in Punxsutawney, PA. to Charles and Cora Longo. Anna Jane leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her son Daniel (Suzanne) McMillin, her daughter Michele (Kenneth) Lewallen, six grandchildren, Kristopher, Jayme, Jason, Michael, Jacob, and Justyne, and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Stribrny, her son Randel McMillin, and her parents and siblings. Anna Jane grew up in Punxsutawney, PA where she was the youngest of eight siblings. She loved to talk about growing up in her big family surrounded by cousins, nieces, and nephews. Her parents had a small grocery store and later a restaurant. Her grade school had one teacher, one classroom, for eight grades and she loved art. She said that the blackboard became her canvas. Anna Jane graduated from Punxsutawney High School in 1951 and moved to California shortly thereafter. With her background in art, she worked for photographers retouching photographs and also tinting black and white photos. She loved painting portraits, children and angels. She received awards from the Beverly Hills Art Association and the Arlington Art Guild of Riverside. She was commissioned to paint children by the Riverside Unified School District. When she was in her late 40's, she went to San Bernardino Valley College and started her second career of Drug and Alcohol Counselor, a role that brought her immense fulfillment. Anna Jane and her husband Jim lived in Moreno Valley, CA and eventually retired to their cherished desert home on five acres in Landers, CA. She continued to paint and she signed her paintings with IBG, Inspired By God. Anna Jane was a remarkable individual. She was always smiling. She fed everyone who walked in the door and made them feel like family. She will be remembered for her hats. Her laughter and joy for life will be missed. His life was a story of intelligence, and humor, which he generously shared with all who knew him. His early years were spent in the heart of Guanajuato, where he cultivated a love for history. The stories of the past fascinated him, and he spent countless hours reading and learning. His thirst for knowledge was unquenchable, and it shaped him into the intelligent man he became. In his youth, he moved to the United States, where he worked tirelessly in the fields and general labor. His work ethic was unparalleled, and he was respected by all who worked alongside him. His hands were rough, but his heart was soft, always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh. Francisco was a man of simple pleasures. He loved the smell of fresh coffee in the morning. He was a smoker, a habit that he enjoyed in solitude, often accompanied by his thoughts and reflections. His laughter was infectious, and his sense of humor was a beacon of light in the lives of those around him. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Maria Botello.
