Brian Schuster Obituary

Brian David Schuster, age 39, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. Born in Johnstown, PA on January 4, 1984, he was the son of the late Charles E. Schuster, Jr. and Beverly (Gontkovic) Lovrich. He was a 2002 graduate of Greater Johnstown Vocational Technical High School. He was presently employed as a Senior Network Engineer at OFFSITE. Brian liked technology, gaming, riding his motorcycle, going on cruises, and was a huge Chicago Blackhawk's fan. He loved spending time at his "happy place", Ocean City, MD but mostly, Brian enjoyed spending time with his German Shepard, Luci. He will be dearly missed by his mom and step-father, Beverly and Michael Lovrich; his nieces, Hailee Janidlo and Chloe Schuster; his step-brother, Dustin Lovrich; his faithful companion, Luci; grandmother, Mary Schuster; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Brian was preceded in death by his dad, Charles E. Schuster, Jr. ; his infant sister; his brother, Christopher C. Schuster; his maternal grandparents, Josephine and Julius J. Gontkovic, Sr. and his paternal grandfather, Charles E. Schuster, Sr. A funeral service will be held 11 a. m. Friday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc. , 710 Broad Street, Fr. George Gulash officiating. Committal will be held at St. Stephen's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Cambria County Humane Society, 743 Galleria Drive, Johnstown, PA 15904, in memory of Brian.
