Brian Terrence King, loving father, brother, and friend, passed away tragically on August 31, 2023 in St. Cloud, Florida. Born on September 29, 1975, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Brian was a beacon of kindness and selflessness, whose love for his family and the outdoors defined his life. Brian was the son of the late Terry and Sandra King. He shared a special bond with his sister Meghan King Salgado, who cherished his unwavering support and infectious laughter. He is survived by his children, Grace and Cole King, and their mother, McKenzi King. Brian's steadfast love for Grace and Cole was evident in every aspect of his life. In his professional life, Brian was a man of many talents. He began his career working for the family business, where he learned the value of hard work and dedication. His natural aptitude for mechanics led him to a career as a hazardous materials mechanic, where he was known for his meticulous attention to detail and unyielding commitment to safety. His dedication and expertise were recognized when he was promoted to head of the shop, a position he held with pride and integrity. Outside of work, Brian had a deep appreciation for the great outdoors. He was happiest when he was fishing, a passion that he cultivated from a young age. His love for fishing was more than just a hobby; it was a reflection of his patience, his love for nature, and his ability to find peace and tranquility in the simplest of moments. His fishing adventures brought him joy, and the stories he shared became treasured memories for those who knew him. Brian was a man of great character, described by those who knew him as loving, kind, and selfless. His warm smile and generous spirit made him a joy to be around. He was an avid basketball player in his younger years at Fort Pierce Central High School and then transferred to Fort Pierce Westwood High School where he graduated with the Class of 1989. Jonathan was employed by Enterprise Rental Car, and previously at Jackson Drugs for well over 10 years. On Tuesday, November 07, 2023 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center our beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, and Best Friend was called to his eternal rest by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Carl W. Durbin, 82, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away peacefully on November 25, 2023. Carl was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on August 5, 1941 to Carl and Mary Durbin. He married his beloved Marie on March 4, 1962 in Puerto Rico. Carl proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, the Air Force National Guard, and the Army National Guard. He enjoyed a long career in the military working as a Communications Operations Chief until his retirement. Carl loved automobiles; he was an avid collector of die-cast classic cars and was a member of many classic car clubs. He took great pride in serving his community as a freemason. Carl loved his country music, especially Elvis and Kenny Rogers. He was also an avid sports fan, especially cheering on his Pittsburgh Steelers. Carl loved supporting the Miss Universe contestants, especially Miss Puerto Rico, he also enjoyed Dancing with the Stars, America’s Got Talent and the Price Is Right. He could often be caught watching the Hallmark Channel as well. Carl was also quite fond of dogs and chocolate. Carl will be deeply missed by his family; his beloved bride of 62 years, Carmen "Marie" Gonzalez Durbin; his devoted children, daughter, Elizabeth M Durbin of Stuart, FL; son Carl (Sandra) R. Durbin of Port St. Lucie, FL and daughter, Eileen (Mark) Turner of Converse, TX. Carl will live on in the memories of his 5 grandchildren, Camila, Dominick (Mia), Jeremy, Samantha, and Natalie and sister, Carla Durbin. He was predeceased by his parents, Carl H and Mary E (Palmer) Durbin, and brothers, Robert V Durbin and Kenneth Durbin. Born on February 5, 1956, in Staten Island, New York, Larry's warm smile and generous spirit brought joy to all who knew him throughout his 67 years of life. Larry's journey began as the cherished son of Eugene and Hope Benning, who preceded him in death. Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Peggy Jean Benning. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Keaton Benning and Cheyenne Benning, who brought him immense pride and joy. His legacy continues through his adored grandchild, Cali Benning, niece, Saundra Langford, and his caring sisters, Pam Payne, Debra Long, and Sherry Adams, all of whom will miss him dearly. After proudly serving his country in the United States Army, Larry dedicated many years of hard work as a superintendent for Fort Pierce Utilities. His commitment to his work was matched only by his dedication to his community, where he was a respected and valued member. Larry's colleagues and friends will remember him not only for his intelligence and expertise but also for his selfless nature and willingness to lend a helping hand. Larry's life was marked by his many passions. He was an avid outdoorsman who relished the time he spent fishing, diving, hunting, and tending to his garden. His love for the natural world was a testament to his adventurous spirit. Barbara Ann Haskell November 4, 1947 - November 19, 2023 Barbara Ann Haskell, born in East St. Louis, Illinois on November 4, 1947, peacefully passed away on November 19, 2023. She was preceded in death by her loving parents Charles and Martha Ozment, her sister Carmen Watts, and brother-in-law Robert Watts. Barbara married the love of her life, Howard N. Haskell, on November 25, 1967. Together they embraced life's journey, raising three cherished children: Lori Marshall (Jim Marshall), Kristen Gideon (Barry Gideon), and Todd Haskell (Emily Haskell). Her legacy continues through the joy she found in her eight beloved grandchildren: Cody, Jacob, Austin, Cole, Carson, Jack, Brock, and Brianna. Barbara was passionate about her faith in Jesus Christ and dedicated herself to serving her church community. She found immense joy in supporting her favorite sports teams, the Houston Astros and the University of Texas Longhorns.
