Houston, TX

Brenda Fraser Rutt was born on April 7, 1965, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Houston, TX to George Fraser III and Donna (Wells) Stapper. Brenda was the devoted wife of Terence (Terry) Rutt with whom she was with for 24 years. She was a 1983 graduate of North Shore High School and attended Tyler Jr. College, where she was an Apache Belle. She was a paralegal at Johnson & Wurzer for 20 years before becoming the City Secretary for Stagecoach, TX for the past 13 years. She is survived by her husband Terry, her parents George & Patsy Fraser (Llano), Donna & Marvin Stapper (Houston), her siblings George, John, Marianne, Robert, and his wife Amy Fraser. She was the beloved Aunt to George Fraser V, Josh, Jessica, Caleb and Wyatt and great aunt to George and Charlotte. Brenda lived her entire life in Texas and would not want to be anywhere else. She was a bright light to all that met her, with an infectious smile, contagious laugh, and eternal optimism. She was active with Special Olympics and animal charities through the years. Brenda loved being involved with her community, coordinating Civic Club activities and events, anything that would be fun and bring people together. She cherished everyone and those who knew her will tell you she was truly a life-long friend. If it meant a chance to have fun with people, she was going to be there. She lived her philosophy, "It's All Good!" and would ask us all to do the same. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Houston K-911 Animal Rescue, Special Olympics, or the American Cancer Society. No funeral services are planned. A Celebration of Life event will be announced in the near future.
