Brenda Sue Richards-53, of Georgetown DE, passed away Sunday June 12th. Brenda was born in Parkersburg West Virginia on November 14th,1968. She is survived by her son Tim Irvin & wife Wendie Irvin. Daughter Ashley Irvin of Alabama. Husband George Richards. Mother Beth Pickrell & father Ray Irvin. 3 grandchildren (Lilyana, Khloie & Layela). Also siblings Shane Irivn, Mark Irvin, and Kami Davis. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers Jamie & Nyck Irvin. Brenda was definitely a one of a kind person. Her life revolved around her grandbabies. They were light of her eyes. Brenda was just one of those people you never forget. She had a heart of gold. But unfortunately she was battling COPD. She ended up hospitalized quite often in the last couple months, because of her breathing. She never let it get her down though. She was a determined woman, that's for sure! But god had better plans for her. She will be greatly missed forever. In honor of her wishes she will be cremated. Funeral Service will be held Thursday June 23rd at Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley St, Seaford, DE at 1 PM where friends may call from 12 to 1, followed by a celebration of life BBQ in Georgetown DE.
