"Ms. Brenda Ellen Catoe, 75, of Lancaster passed away Monday, April 24, 2023 at Lancaster Health and Rehabilitation where she has resided for the past 14 months. She was born May 5, 1947 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Hughie Catoe and Alma Adams Catoe. Ms. Catoe was a member of Pleasant Dale Baptist Church. She loved spending time with family and friends. A service to celebrate the life of Ms. Catoe will be held Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 1 p. m. from the graveside at Camp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Jessie Adams officiating. Ms. Catoe is survived by brothers, Bobby (Santa) Catoe, Jimmy (Cindy) Catoe, Phillip (Aurelia) Catoe, Billy (Kim) Catoe all of Lancaster, Donald (Abby) Catoe of East Bend, NC and Jake Catoe of Alabama; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Travis Catoe, Larry Catoe and Charles Catoe; and sisters, Pat Wallace, Dottie Williams and B. J. Rushing. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
