Brandon Keith Sprague born February 19, 1998, age 25, went home to be with the Lord Jesus peacefully with family by his side on September 5, 2023 at OSU Medical Center after losing his 2-year battle of heart failure. He was a loving son, brother, and friend to everyone. He was very creative and could make and build anything. He loved anything outdoors fishing, hiking, skateboarding, and riding BMX bikes. He loved working on his car and helping his friends with their cars. His favorite holiday was the Fourth of July and he loved lighting off fireworks for everyone's enjoyment. He found great satisfaction in helping others. He will be deeply missed. He is survived by his father Keith Sprague, sisters Lacey (Zach) Thoman, Haley (Tim) Culbertson, nieces, Avery Thoman, Payton Culbertson, Harper Culbertson; nephews, Maddox Thoman and Grayson Culbertson; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald Sprague, grandmother, Janis Sprague, mother, Lori Sprague, and grandfather Gerald Klusty. Caring Cremation has taken place through the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home. A a graveside celebration of his life will take place at 1:30 PM on Friday, September 29th, at Maple Grove Cemetery in Lancaster, OH. Timothy L. Schneider,78 formerly of Lancaster, Ohio passed away at his home on December 7th 2023 in Denver, NC surrounded by his family. Tim was born on September 18, 1945, in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Thomas D Schneider and Dorothy McCleery Schneider. Tim was a graduate of Lancaster High School 1963, National Honor Society, The Ohio State University, Graduate 1968, BS in Electrical Engineering, Eta Kappa Nu Engineering Honorary, Worked at Cape Canaveral on the Delta Rocket Project with Bell Labs, Joined IBM in 1976 where we worked for 37 years and earned two patents for the fax machine while at IBM. Tim is survived by his wife Carolyn (Dickson) of 57 years; children Trina McKenzie, Daniel Schneider (Amy), Kimberlie Vojtko (Rob), Heather Myers, Christina McAulty, David Schneider (Kristy); grandchildren, Kaylee, Kamden, Samantha, Hayes, Madison, Jordan, Emma, Alex, Lily, Jack, Justin, Lilly, Madeline, Sam. He has numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Friday December 15, 2023 at First English Lutheran Church, 220 North Columbus Street. Burial is to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10 AM to 11 AM at the church. Donna Bell Bushue, 96, of Somerset, passed away at 9:00 a. m. Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Buckeye Care and Rehabilitation in Lancaster, Ohio. Donna was born May 12, 1927, in Somerset, the daughter of the late Noah and Georgea Belle (VanDyke) Spangler. She was a member of the Somerset United Methodist Church where she had worked many funeral luncheons and turkey suppers. She was a former employee of Kroger Grocery in Somerset, Ohio, a member of the Somerset American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and the Rebekah Lodge. She is survived by special friends, June Foster and John and Jennifer Reichley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis "Buck" Bushue. She is preceded in death by her husband Henry J. Lehman. Survived by her sister, Helen (Rex) Anderson; sons Brent (Freda) Lehman and Bryan (CJ) Lehman; daughter Kim (Mark) Wickham; grandmother to 4, great-grandmother to 4, aunt, great aunt and great-great aunt to many. Raymond G. "Jerry" Colopy, 84, of Lancaster, Ohio passed away surrounded by his family at Mt. Carmel East on December 5, 2023. Jerry was born in Lancaster, Ohio on November 21, 1939 to the late Clarence and Bernardine Colopy. He graduated from St. Mary High School in 1958 and attended John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio, where he met the love of his life, Kathleen Coleman. He was a member of the National Guard, worked at Gaffney Motor Freight and then purchased Colopy Mayflower Moving & Storage in 1971. He was a founding member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, a member of St. Mary choir for 25 years, a Knights of Columbus member, coached biddy basketball, and a volunteer for the Red Cross. Jerry is survived by his wife, Kathleen, of 61 years, his children Maureen (Mark) Secrist, Katie (Mike) Naveau, Eileen (Jeff) Christoffers, Steve (Tara) Colopy and Elizabeth (Brian) Moore along with fourteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, his brother Thomas (JoAnn) and sister Ellen Marie Colopy. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Margaret-Mary "Meg" Seipel, infant-daughter, Ann Colopy, brother, Richard "Dick" Colopy, and parents Clarence and Bernardine Colopy. Mass of Christian burial will take place on Saturday, December 9 at 10:00 am at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Lancaster. Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery at a later date. Juanita M. Bentley, 88, Born May 31, 1935 to Odford C. Bolin and Ruth K. Beculhimer. Preceded in death by Ronald H. Bentley, Sr, her husband of 44 years, her son-in-law Mike Stemple, grandson Travis Westhoven, brothers Harold Bolin and Orville Bolin. Survived by daughters Diana (Dwight) Valentine, Recisa (Rick) VanFossen, Mylia (David) Marshall, Robin Stemple and Tina Siemer. Sons Ronald H. Bentley, Jr. and Matthew Bentley. Siblings Joy Hill, Eugene (Debbie) Bolin, Erma (Michael) Martin, Curt (Robin) Bolin and Chad (Sandy) Bolin. She was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren and 4 great[1]great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Juanita lived a very creative life in her gardens and her home. Her creative spirit brought much beauty and love to her life and all who entered her door. Her deepest desire was "to go home". She completed her life's journey on December 2, 2023 and has now gone home to those loved ones gone before. We regretfully announce the passing of Wilda Jean Binner, who passed away peacefully in her home on November 30,2023. Wilda was 80 years old and predeceased by her husband Dennis Binner in 2008. She is survived by her 2 sons David and Dale Binner, her daughter Debbie Morgan(Kevin Morgan), grandchildren Deanna Binner(Josh Mylar), Ashlee Radcliffe(Derek Beam), Kendra Binner(Jacob Young), Devon Burnett(Katia Hammond), Joseph Haren, and great grandchildren Madison, Ava, Braxton, Bentley, Nolan, Tully, Damian, Drakken, Morgan, and Landyn. Wilda beat cancer years ago and has been battling Dementia but can now rest comfortably with her heavenly father. She will forever be loved and forever remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved singing and playing the piano, and she made friends wherever she went. No services will take place, but the family will have a Celebration of Life Dinner when she is placed to rest next to her mother and father. Kenneth Everett Brown, 83, passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. He was born on September 5, 1940 in Jacksonville, Ohio to James R and Melba (Grimm) Brown. He is survived by his wife, Barbara A. (Bushee) Brown, a brother, David (Mary) Brown of Roseville, OH, his son Mark (Heather) E. Brown of Centerburg, OH, 3 grandchildren Mary E. (Victor) Brown-Litteral, Ian E. Brown, and Alistair C. Brown, 3 great-grandchildren, Magnus, Theodore, and Nikolaus Litteral, and a nephew, Dwayne (Jennifer) Bushee. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Darlene (Mike) Hughes, and his brother Roger (Ingrid) Brown. Kenneth graduated from Lancaster High School in 1958, received his BA from the College of Arts and Sciences at Ohio University in 1967, and his M. Div. from Trinity Lutheran Seminary in 1971. Kenneth served as a pastor, first in the Evangelical United Brethren Church, then in the United Methodist Church for over 50 years. He served congregations throughout Fairfield County, as well as in Liberty Center, Newark, Kenton, Englewood, and Westerville. He preached his first sermon at 12 years old, then was appointed to his first congregation at 18, and ordained an Elder at Trinity Church in 1972. Kenneth retired in 2002, being subsequently called out of retirement to serve smaller congregations. Kenneth received the Harry Denman Award for Evangelism, the 33rd Degree and the Royal Order of Scotland of the Scottish Rite, and was a member of the American Rose Society and Lodge #57 Lancaster F&AM. Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Monday, December 4, 2023 and the funeral will be held at noon on Tuesday, December 5 at the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home at 436 North Broad Street Lancaster, OH 43130. Leola Mae McKee, age 88 of Blacklick and formally of Lancaster Ohio, peacefully passed away on November 28, 2023. Leola was a member of Wonderland Community Church and a devout Christian woman. In her free time, she would volunteer sewing for Lutheran Senior Services, which she took much pride in. Leola was a devoted matriarch of her large family, whom she loved to spend time with and visit. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends and pets as well. She especially loved dining out with those near and dear to her heart. Leola is survived by Glenda M. (Roger) Painter, Sandra S. (Joey) Kopchack, Norbort F. (Marsha) McKee, Dan E. (Tish) Place, Melony J. McKee, Susan K. Owens, Melodie J. Thomas, Clinton I. , McKee Jr. , D. Susan (Pete) Stuller, Martha M. (Jeff) Newton, Kathy L. He was born on September 2, 1987 in Lancaster Ohio and was a 2006 graduate of Lancaster High School. He is survived by son, Aden; parents, Tom and Cindy Van Horn; grandfather, Carrol Van Horn; Aunts and Uncles, Kathy and Gary Cain, and David and Tammy Wasserman. Cousins, Jeremy Wasserman and Drew Peart and family; and friend, Mark Souslin. He was preceded in death by his brother, Andrew in 2011; grandparents, Sandra and Harold Warner, Margaret Van Horn, John Wasserman and girlfriend, April Holowell.
