Bonnie Crain Obituary

| | Bonnie Lou Crain 92, of Madison passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at the Monroe Manor Nursing Home in Paris, MO. Bonnie was born on October 12, 1930 in Sumner, MO the daughter of Charles and Lola Belle (Conger) Neal. She married Bill Crain on November 2, 1950 in Paris, MO and he preceded her in death on September 10, 2007. Bonnie is survived by her four children; David (Laurie) Crain of St. James, MO, Joyce (Richard) Westhues of Cairo, MO, Neal (Nancy) Crain of Holliday, MO, and Ellen (Howard) Smothers of Holliday, MO; twelve grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren with number 30 due in May. She was preceded in death her parents and loving husband, one grandchild, three great-grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters. Bonnie graduated from Sumner High school in 1948. She was a member of the Madison Homemakers Club and a 4-H Leader. Some of her favorite things to do were cross stitch, planting flowers, and reading. Bonnie most enjoyed her time with all her family. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p. m. , Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at the Madison Area Community Center with Reverend Karen Shearer officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p. m. until time of service on Wednesday at the Community Center. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery in Madison, MO. Memorials may be made to the Grace United Methodist Church.
