Bobby Farrell Rolen, age 91 of Sevierville passed away Saturday September 9, 2023. He loved to share his buckeyes and Werther's candy and always had a joke for you. Bobby was a member of New Salem Baptist Church, served in the Army and retired from Alcoa Aluminum, Co. He was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Rolen; parents; George Ray and Verna Mae Rolen; son Michael Farrell Rolen. Bobby is survived by his daughters, Debbie (Josh) Williams and Evonne (Robert) Maples; grandchildren, Allison (Mark) Antemann, Megan (Brandon) Smelcer, Seth (Cherise) Shahan, Zach (Taylor) Sawyer, Shelby Maples; great grandchildren, Justin, Jack, Joey, James and Jeremiah Antemann, Grady and Oaklee Smelcer; sister, Carolyn Baxter; special nephew, Jerry Baxter, special cousin, Lonnie Paul Hartsell, many nieces, nephews and special friends. The family will receive friends from 4-6PM Wednesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with service to follow at 6PM. Rev. Ben Whitted and Rev. Ronnie Reagan will be officiating. Rev. Bobby Ray Atchley, Sr. , 81, of Sevierville, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. He was born March 30, 1942, in Sevierville, TN. Rev. Bobby was a devout Christian who loved his church and his family. He was a former Pastor at Smithwood Baptist Church, Sevierville. Rev. Bobby enjoyed gardening, hunting, and the outdoors. He enjoyed helping others with no expectations. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Betty Atchley; wife, Nellie Atchley; daughter, Kelly Atchley Williams; siblings, Lucille Lewis, John Maples, L. Eugene Atchley, and Shirley Moore. Bobby is survived by his children, Bobby Atchley, Jr. and wife, Kristee, Michael Atchley and wife, Heather; son-in-law, Mike Williams; grandchildren, April and Josh Williams, Alexis and Issac Atchley, Emily and Nolan Atchley; great-grandchildren, Christian, Taylor, Ethan, Halle, Jayden, and Juliet; a host of nieces and nephews. Jerry W. Griffith, age 62, of Sevierville, formerly of Harrison, Michigan, earned his wings on November 25, 2023. Jerry attended Pathways Church. Jerry was a hunter, fisherman, and jack of all trades. At just seventeen years of age, while still in high school, he secured his first job at Bull-Dog Factory Service, where he worked his way up to foreman. After 30 years of employment, he retired from Bull-Dog as an Automation Engineer and relocated to Harrison, Michigan and went on to work with Federal Broach where he would continue in his field for another 6 years. After moving to Tennessee, he took a position with Federal Mogul making car valves, until his ALS diagnosis. For the next 5 years he became a true ALS warrior. He was the bravest person we have ever known; a true fighter to the end. Jerry is preceded in death by his father Lloyd Griffith; grandparents Ardel & Tilda Griffith and Lillie & Virgil Bowling; and his infant brother Griffith; brothers-in-law Charles Trejo, Philip Trejo, sister-in-law Mary Trejo; mother-in-law Faye Trejo and father-in-law George Trejo. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lola Griffith; children Misty Witt (Edward) and Jerry W. Griffith (Carla); grandchildren Haileigh Griffith, Zoey Griffith, Shane Gibbons Witt, and Chad Gibbons Witt; mother Elsie DeNoyer; brothers Dennis Griffith, Jeff Griffith (Angella), Joey Griffith (Tammy); sister Sandra Griffith; brothers-in-law George Trejo, Richard Trejo, and Jim Trejo; sisters-in-law Carol Sue Garza (Rey), Gerri Norris, and Eva Cavazos (Saul); many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Clyde Wayne Logan, 81, of Sevierville, Tennessee, passed away Monday, November 20, 2023, at his residence. Born in Petersville on June 30, 1942, his father was the late Willie Logan and his mother was the late Stella Spencer Logan. Clyde was a former business owner in both Maysville and Flemingsburg. Clyde is survived by his wife, Diane Martin Logan; his three children, Clyde Wayne "J. R. " Logan and wife Glenda, Diane Logan Hostetler, and Chasity Pilson and husband Mark; his seven grandchildren, Wade Logan, Hannah Logan, Hayden Logan, Casey Gulley, Santana Hostetler, Tristan Gardner, and Kylar Gardner; and his two great grandchildren, Jayce Gulley and Starr O'Neal. He is also survived by four of his siblings, Gilbert Logan and wife Shirley, Robert Logan and wife Jackie, Elsie Gulley and husband Dewey, and Pauletta Kilgore; along with many extended family members and friends. In addition to his mother and father, Clyde was preceded in death by six of his siblings, William Garr Logan, Wilma Bretz, Wallace Logan, Juanita Kielman, Bennie Logan, and Edward Russell Logan. "Judith Duvall, age 79, of Sevierville TN, passed away November 19, 2023 at McLaren Hospital in Petoskey, MI. Private Family Funeral Services are being held at Eineder Funeral Homes - Manchester Chapel. There will be a private interment of ashes at a later date. Judy was born on July 5, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan to Floyd and Helen (Stein) Hastings. She was a 1962 graduate of Wayne Memorial High School. She married Louis Duvall on July 24, 1965 in Wayne, Michigan. She worked at Meijer for 15 years and Dollywood for 15 years. She was a former parishioner of St. Mary of the Assumption in Manchester, MI. Judy was an avid bowler even bowling a 300 game. She enjoyed shopping, collecting dolls, and going to concerts and Dollywood. She loved being with her friends and family. Henry "Junior" Charles Minton Jr. , 78, of Glasford, Illinois passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023, surrounded by his family. Henry was born on September 10, 1945 in Sevierville, Tennessee, to Edith (Rains) and Henry Minton Sr. He married Debra Balding from Newton, IL, on August 5, 1989. She survives. Also surviving are his children, Amy (Minton) Thiery of Mapleton, Greg (Francine) Minton of Peoria, Matthew (Jennifer) Fustin of Rockford, and Drew (Alexis) Fustin of Chicago; grandchildren, Charles Thiery, Michael Thiery, Kody (Grace) Minton, Seth Smith, Nicole Minton, Gracie May Minton, Nora Fustin, June Fustin, Elliott Fustin, and Graham Fustin; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Pattie (Minton) Knudson, Dennis (Sue) Minton; mother-in-law, Nelda Balding; and many other relatives. He will be dearly missed. He was preceded by his parents; father-in-law, Neil Balding; his sisters, Linda Norman, and Judy Robinson; and son-in-law David Thiery. Henry retired in 2009 as a Sergeant from the Peoria Police Department after proudly serving for 39 years. He was a member of the Peoria Police Benevolent Association. In his free time he enjoyed being outside, driving his tractor, working on his farm, and especially burning yard waste. He loved attending his grandchildren's sporting events and watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball. Henry was an avid horseman and had a passion for raising and showing his horses. He was a hard working man and made sure to stay busy. At the age of 15, he stepped up in raising his siblings, and he was both an amazing mother and father to his two children. Henry was a strong, proud man, who took care of others before himself. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 1, from 5pm to 7pm at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Nunzio Samuel Cicero passed away peacefully in Sevierville, Tennessee, surrounded by his loving wife and family on October 30, 2023 at the age of 82. He was born in Warsaw, New York on October 30, 1941 a son to the late Samuel J and Carrie M (Ferrara) Cicero. He was raised in Perry where he attended Perry Central School and graduated with the class of 1959. Nunzio married his high school sweetheart and love of his life Donna (Kelly), and together they raised 4 children, and recently celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary. Nunzio was a finished carpenter where he retired from both the Rochester Labor and Carpenter's Union. He used these skills throughout his lifetime, remodeling their primary home, and assisting many family and friends with their carpentry needs. He thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors, and was active in various sporting activities throughout his lifetime, including target shooting and hunting-both of which he did locally and out of state with his sons and close friends. It was not uncommon for him to come home with a 'new purchase' for his hobbies, which provided us many laughs around the table. Nunzio's commitment to the Lord was evident to all who knew him. His faith carried him throughout his lifetime and during some of the most challenging of times. It was through his faith and devotion to God, that he was able to provide guidance and comfort to others in a truly meaningful way. He is survived by his loving wife Donna of Sevieville, Tennessee, son Samuel L. Cicero of Pompano Beach, Florida; daughter Christine (David) Sanford of Ridgefield, Washington; son Stephen (Rachel) Cicero of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; sister RoseMary Swede of Geneseo, New York, 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving daughter Cheri VanBuren, and sister Ann Arlene Kenna. A Celebration of Life will be held on December 2nd at Eaton Watson Funeral Home. Visitation from 12:00-2:00, service will follow at 2:00pm and reception immediately following at the Genesee River Restaurant and Reception Center in Mt. Morris, New York.
