It is with a blend of sorrow and gratitude that we remember the life of James Hersey Skinner, who was born on September 5, 1951, in El Paso, Texas, and passed away on December 4, 2023 in Tulsa, OK. James was a man deeply rooted in his home of Sand Springs, Oklahoma. A proud alumnus of Riley Elementary, Madison, and Central High School, James was a testament to the value of diligence and ambition. He graduated high school in 1969 and initially worked for WC Norris where he became a skilled welder before moving onto Sun Oil Refinery where he worked as an operator. But what truly defined James was not his career, rather his passions outside of work. As an avid outdoorsman, he found joy and contentment in fishing and hunting. Moreover, his grandchildren were the apple of his eye, and he relished every opportunity he had to spoil them. James is survived by his loving wife, Colleen Skinner of the home; his sons, Steven Skinner and wife, Carol of Sand Springs, Mike and wife, Shelly of Sand Springs, and Daniel and wife, Teddy of Sand Springs; his grandchildren, Stephanie Lawrence, Bailey Skinner, Matthew Skinner, and Jacob Skinner; great grandchildren, Landon, Evan, and Grayson; and several step-grandchildren; his siblings, Donna Bauer, Jack Skinner and Nadia Reynolds. His life was a testament to the power of family, love, and resilience. James has been reunited with his father, Hersey Skinner, his mother, Alma Skinner, his brother, David Skinner, and his granddaughter, Danielle Skinner, who all preceded him in death. James Skinner's spirit lives on in the hearts and minds of those he left behind. His story, his laughter, and the wisdom he imparted will forever be treasured. We invite you to leave your memories, share your stories, and upload photos of James to the memorial page ar www. dilloncares. com. It is through these shared remembrances that his legacy will continue to light the way for those who follow.Show more

Cynthia Sue Mota of Cushing, OK. Has passed away on November 26th 2023 at the age of 64. Cindy "Cinnamon" (Crutchfield) Mota was born September 21st 1959 at Saint John's Hospital in Tulsa OK to Eli Johnny Rudolph and Peggy Sue (Barnard) Crutchfield. She was the eldest of her six siblings and she was very motherly to them all and in all of the stories told they cherished and looked up to their sister as a woman who never let anyone or anything stop her. She was brave and fierce in this world and always did life in the way she wanted to live it, if she was told she couldn't do it she was determined to do it and be good at it too. In fact, she was an avid motorcycle rider, a semi-truck driver and a racecar driver but always a girly girl to the end. She paved the way for everyone around her to see her strength and independence and she was an inspiration to everyone who knew her. With grace and resilience, she navigated life's challenges, proving that strength knows no gender. May her legacy of independence continue to empower and guide those fortunate enough to have been touched by her remarkable presence. In every moment in life, she was passionate about doing kind acts for those in need and even if she didn't have something she would make sure others had what they needed. She forged unforgettable journeys; may the echoes of her rides forever resonate in the hearts of those who shared the wind with her. She is survived by her significant other of 20 years Gary Record; sons Daniel Calderon, wife Barbara, and grandson Xavier. Richard Eli Calderon, wife Teresa and grandsons Mathew and Junior.
