Bobbie L. Allen understood love, discipline, care and valuable life lessons and shared them with so many in his life. Bobbie Lee Allen was born on September 2, 1944, in Farmville, Virginia, to the late Marie Mildred Allen and David Coles. Bobbie was raised by his grandmother Lynette Mann in Farmville VA. , until his pre- teen years. He then moved to Passaic, NJ with his mother and his late stepfather George (Buster) William Mcintyre, Jr. whom he loved and greatly admired. Upon moving to Passaic, Bobbie attended the Passaic Public School System. lie participated in the Hilltop Star, as a representative, Student Council Committee, and the History Club, where he met the love of his life Marzella McKinney. He began to develop his hard "work-ethic" while working after school jobs and then graduated from Passaic High School in 1965. In 1966, he was drafted into the United States Air Force and proudly served our country in the Vietnam War, as an airman and rose to the rank of Sergeant. He was stationed in numerous locations around the world before being honorably discharged. After five years of service, he left the Air Force to care for his younger siblings after his mother's death. On June 27th, 1970. Bobbie married Marzella McKinney. From this union two daughters were born. They enjoyed vacationing, hosting cookouts, New Years Eve gatherings and other family events. Bobbie attended Rutgers University where he pursued his bachelor's degree in business. He was employed by the prestigious IBM Corporation for many years. He then adapted the "IBM Standard" with speech, dress and in everything he did. He later worked for Steelcase Corporation and Home Depot. The couple worked hard and relaxed together as a family. Bobbie had become Marzella's sole, loving caregiver during her years of illness up until his illness. Bobbie was a member of the Albert Lawson Memorial VFW Post 10117 in Passaic, NJ and the Passaic Optimist Club. He was predeceased by his mother, father and stepfather, siblings; Cora Lee, Jacqueline, George William Ill, Gwendolyn, Frenchie and Wayne McIntyre. Bobbie leaves behind to honor and cherish his loving memory his wife of 53 years; Marzella (McKinney) Allen, Passaic, NJ, his brother; Ronald A. McIntyre, Cleveland, Texas, three daughters; Cheryl White of Winston-Salem, NC, Stephanie Urgovitch, Garfield, NJ, Sunnie Allen-Henderson (Jason) Passaic, NJ, five grandchildren; Justin Phillip Urgovitch, William and Darius White, Asoni Henderson and Nosaj Henderson, six great-grandchildren, five great great-grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends whom he loved and cared for so dearly. A father cares for his family. Ile shows his children the way they should go in this world. He protects and works hard for his family. He sets a good example and makes sure his family doesn't go without - even if he does.
