Bob Duke Obituary

Bob "Bobby" Duke, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. Born October 25, 1931 to Pleas Duke and May (Grimes) Duke in Helena, Arkansas. Bobby proudly served in the United States Army and Air Force as a mechanic. He spent many years working as a contract worker for the United States Government and got to travel around the world. He loved to repair and rebuild cars and all animals had a special place in his heart. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pleas and May Duke; loving wife of 60 years, Mary Lou Duke; four siblings; and daughter-in-law, Janet Duke. Bobby is survived by his children, Rod Duke, Debbie (Tom) Jones and Cory Duke; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; fur babies, Opie the dog & Randy the cat; and numerous extended family members and friends. Funeral service for Bobby will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th Street N. , Wichita, Kansas 67206. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
