Blanche Jones Obituary

Ms. Blanche Vivian Gribble Jones, age 96, of Cave Spring, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at her residence. Ms. Jones was born in Floyd County, Georgia on February 27, 1927, daughter of the late James Marion Gribble and the late Bertha Callaway Gribble. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Henry Gribble, Hubbard Gribble, Raleigh Gribble, and Forrest Gribble. Ms. Jones worked as a Denim Inspector for Lindale manufacturing for 30 years prior to retirement. She was a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Nathan Dale Jones; a sister, Ellen Faye Hardy; a brother, Floyd Gribble; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 2pm at Flint Hill Cemetery. Mr. Barry Henderson and the Rev. Natalie Faulkner will officiate. The family would like to thank the staff at Cave Spring Manor for all their love and care during Ms. Jones' time there. Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, has charge of the arrangements.
