Binh Thanh Le, 69, of Wichita Falls passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to pay their respect to the Le family at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. Vigil services will be held at 5:30 p. m. on Thursday, September 14th and Friday, September 15th at the Immaculate Conception of Mary Catholic Church. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 a. m. on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Immaculate Conception of Mary Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. Binh was born on August 30, 1954 to the late Hai Son Le and Hue Thi Nguyen in Vietnam. As a refugee, he arrived in the United States in 1975. He met Phuc Thi Tran in 1978 and the couple married in 1979. Binh worked for PPG/Vitro for over 40 years and retired in 2020. He was an involved member of the Immaculate Conception of Mary Catholic Church. He will be missed by family and friends. Binh is survived by his wife, Phuc Thi Tran Le; two sons, Son Thanh Le (wife Misty Le) and Lam Thanh Le (wife Salena Le); two daughters, Anh Nguyet Thi Le (husband Cuong Tran) and Ngoc-Tran Thi Cromwell (husband Jeff Cromwell); and five grandchildren, Alex Le, Chloe Le, Emma Tran, Amelia Le, and Elias Le. Harla Sue Lindsey, 72, left this earth to be with our heavenly father on Sunday December 3, 2023. The family will receive friends between 6 and 8 p. m. Harla was born on October 18, 1951 to Harlan and Christine Cannedy of Wichita Falls, Texas. She graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1970. Friday nights you could find her at her grandmother Big Mama's house laughing and telling stories with her large family. In May of 1971 she married the love of her life, Clifton Lindsey. They had 2 wonderful children, Clifton Lee and Chrissi. She was a dedicated mother and grammie. Her kids' and grandkids' friends became her "adopted" family. Her family was the most important aspect of her life, and she was very involved in the life of her kids and grandkids. Everyone was drawn to her fun-loving personality. Family and friends loved talking to her and trading stories. Harla was the matriarch of the family and never stopped taking care of others. Harla is preceded in death by her parents, Harlan and Christine Cannedy. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Clifton Lindsey; her son, Clifton Lee Lindsey and wife Cristy of Whitehouse, Texas; her daughter, Chrissi Kirkland and husband Kyle of Wichita Falls, Texas; her grandkids, Abby Lindsey and Brealyn Lindsey of Whitehouse, Texas, Kyler Kirkland and Jack Kirkland of Wichita Falls, Texas; her brothers, Marty Cannedy and wife Janet of Wichita Falls, Texas and Eddy Cannedy and wife Gail of Iowa Park, Texas; and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Oleta "Kathy" Pappas, 88, of Iowa Park passed away and entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Sunday, December 3, 2023. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p. m. Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held at 11 a. m. Thursday, December 7, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Wichita Falls with Pastor Rod Payne officiating. Graveside burial services will follow at 3 p. m. at Mountain Park Cemetery in Oklahoma with Sam Whitson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. Kathy was born on March 25, 1935 in Foster, Oklahoma to Jewel H. and Mary B. (Freeman) Weaver. She married James Pappas on July 21, 1953, and the couple were married for 66 years. Kathy enjoyed reading, camping, canoeing, traveling, gardening, pulling weeds, and collecting rocks. Most of all, Kathy loved attending church and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed riding motorcycles and still had her motorcycle license until her passing. Kathy never met a stranger and loved her family deeply. She loved her Lord and Savior and was eager to share this love with others. She was preceded in death by her by husband, James Pappas; her parents, siblings; and daughter, Barbara Ann Pappas. Kathy is survived by her children, James Pappas, Amy Whitson and husband Neal, Julie Pappas, Tom Pappas, and Ronald Pappas and wife Barbara; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. Adella Pauline Riley, 81, of Burkburnett, TX, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, November 24, 2023. Daughter of the late William Paul Roberts and Daisy Adella (Bowles) Roberts, Adella was born April 10, 1942, in Walters, OK and graduated from Walters High School. She married Bobby Joe Riley on February 19, 1972, in Wichita Falls, TX. She was employed through various banking institutions during her life and retired as a bookkeeper with Echo Productions, Inc. of Graham, TX. Upon retirement, the couple made their home in Burkburnett, TX. She was a loving soul who raised a family while maintaining her career. Adella was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Burkburnett, a nurturer, always ready with food, a place to stay, an open door to stop and chat a while - it did not matter who you were family, friends, or strangers. When she did not have a book in her hand, Adella was working fabric through a sewing machine and attending many craft fairs and festivals. Her hands were always busy and many have been blessed by them. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Daisy Roberts and husband Bobby Riley. She is survived by sisters Dean Hooker of Walters, OK, and Sally Beavers of Lawton, OK; son Christopher A. Riley and wife Sandy of Newport News, VA; son Michael D. Riley and wife Susan of Loving, TX; grandchildren Taylor Riley, Chance Riley and wife CaryAnne, Adyson Riley Norburg and husband Cullen, Alexandra Riley, Alyssa Riley and Anna K. Riley; one great granddaughter Blair Norburg; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was well known for her generosity to the local communities she lived in and her kind spirit helped her banter her way through life's ups and downs leaving lasting impressions that inspired others. Billie Laverne Cook of Burkburnett Tx, passed into her eternal life to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ surrounded by loved ones on Saturday November 25, 2023 . Billie was born on March 23, 1945 in Burkburnett Texas ,she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Cook; parents, Bill & Eloise Eidson and brother Pewee. A warm listening ear to many, Billie built decades-long friendships in her many years of work as a hairdresser and owner of "The Magic Wand Beauty Salon" in Burkburnett, Tx. She obtained her beauty license at a young age and maintained it until 2022. Even after retirement she continued to do the hair of many of her lifetime patrons. Billie was a beautiful woman who loved to make others look and feel beautiful too. She loved to bake, work puzzles , gardening and tell stories of her cherished childhood of her and her sisters. Billie was a devout Christian who loved her Lord and Savior and her family very much and was loved by all that knew her. Those left to share her memory are her sister Mary Burchett of Burkburnett Tx, her sister Linda May of Wichita Falls,Tx ,her son Jeff Aaron and his wife Blanca Aaron of Wichita Falls, Tx , her son Johnny Aaron Jr. Her 6 grandchildren Josh Aaron, Garrett Aaron, Emylee Aaron, Trey Aaron ,Trista Mason, Jocelynn Ott , 5 great grandchildren and her loving nieces and nephews. Ronald James Hogue, 85, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023 at Hospice of Wichita Falls. Ron was born July 22, 1938 in Saegertown, PA to James Huston and Virginia Garldine (Burkhart) Hogue. Ron often talked about the memories of the one room school house he attended for elementary school in Milledgeville, PA. He then attended and graduated from Cochranton High School, Cochranton, PA IN 1956. He attended Wayland Baptist College in Wichita Falls,After graduating high school, Ron proudly served in the Army Reserves and was on active duty at Ft. Knox, KY and Ft, Meade, MD until December 1956. He was honorably discharged from the Reserves in 1962. In 1957, Ron began his employment at American Brakeshoe, and in 1958 he began working for American Viscose where he was promoted to a supervisory position in 1962. Ron was employed by PPG Industries, Inc. in July 1968 as a foreman at the Meadville, PA plant, He transferred to PPG in Wichita Falls in January of 1974 as a Shift Supervisor and retired February 1, 2000 after 31 years of service. He married Martha Jane Williamson on May 4, 1957 and two sons were born to this union. After moving to Wichita Falls, Ron married Jo Carol (Missy) Lynch on November 1, 1975. He adopted Missy's son, and together they had a son and daughter. Ron was a devoted family man and loved deeply. He adored his grandchildren, and he was truly a kind and gentle man. He was fair and consistent boss. Many times, former employees would say he was the best supervisor they ever worked for. Ron's hobbies were hunting, fishing and in later years, reading. He was a Christian and attended Grace Church in Wichita Falls. Ron and Missy lived in Wichita Falls after their marriage until 1979 and then moved to Holliday, TX, Ron was elected to the Holliday City Council and served from 1987 to 1996. He was a member of the Small Cities Advisory Council for the State of Texas. After retirement from PPG, Ron and Missy spent summers in their RV in Meadville, PA. The time spent with family, and friends old and new, and their church family at Wayland Baptist Church are fond memories they both cherished. Ron is survived by his wife of 48 years, Missy; son Jeff and wife Kem of Bradenton, FL; son Rudy and wife Vicki Hogue of Iowa Park, TX; son Rickey Hogue of Wichita Falls; son Corey and wife Alicia Hogue of Wichita Falls; daughter Sarah and husband Shaun Snow of Burkburnett, TX. Also surviving is his sister Alice Doolittle of Townville, PA; brother Walter and wife Bonnie of Cochranton, PA; grandchildren, Jennifer and husband Jaret O'Toole, Heather and husband Chris Mook, Rebecca and husband Reginald Atupulazi, Renee and husband Justin Singletary, Joshua and wife Allison Hogue, Alexandria Hogue, Michael Snow, Caden Snow and Gabriel Hogue; two bonus grandsons, Blake and wife Danielle Powell and Joshua and wife Shawnee Powell; great grandchildren, Brock O'Toole, Fox Mook, Austin Bish, Hayley Hogue,, Braden O'Toole, Kacie Mook, Ashlyn Singletary, Maycee Hogue, Jeremiah Hogue and Charis Hogue; bonus great grandchildren are Madyson and husband Dylan Riggins, Tyler Singletary, Savannah Powell, Jaiden Powell Jorgia Powell, Carter Powell Elizabeth Atupulazi and Maddox Harrington; great-great granddaughters, Gravity O'Toole and Nova Leslie. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, sister Margaret Phares and brother, Richard Hogue. A Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 Monday evening, November 27, 2023 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home, 1317 Ninth Street, Wichita Falls. Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 PM Tuesday at Grace Church Chapel, 5214 Stone Lake Dr. , Wichita Falls with Pastor Joe Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Holliday, TX Cemetery. Shirlene Hatcher passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023. A Celebration of Shirlene's life will be held at 2:30 p. m. Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at First United Methodist Church in Burkburnett under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett. Shirlene was born in Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas and soon after, the family moved to Electra and in 1948 to Burkburnett. She met Ray Hatcher on May 28, 1950; and they married exactly one year later, just 3 days after graduating from Burkburnett High School. Shirlene attended Draughon's Business College. Shirlene owned and operated a bridal shop from 1965 until 1977 alongside her mother's floral shop, The Burkburnett Florist and Bridal Shop. In the early 70's, she opened Shirlene's Dress Shop, closing in 2003. Shirlene and Ray were longtime members of First United Methodist Church since 1969. She was also a member of the University Study Club. Shirlene enjoyed dancing, playing cards with friends, gardening, and summers in Colorado. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Dean; her mother, Nellie B. Richards; and her father, LV Richards. She is survived by her children, Lolly Hatcher Barnard and husband Bill of Henrietta; her son, Rick Hatcher and wife Missy of Wichita Falls; and her daughter, Robin Hatcher McShane and husband Rob of Portgordori, Scotland (UK). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Libby Barnard of Wichita Falls, Audrey Barnard Dudley and husband Ty of Burleson, Erika Hatcher Lobaugh and husband Kurt of Rogers, Arkansas, and Zac Hatcher of Wichita Falls; and two great-grandchildren, Alexa Barnard and Blaze Lobaugh. Geneva A. Gregory, 93, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023 in Wichita Falls. The family will receive friends between 12:00 p. m. and 12:45 p. m. at Faith Village Church of Christ, 4100 McNiel Ave, Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. at the church with Mr. Zachary Waugh officiating. A private family interment will follow under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. Geneva was born on May 12, 1930 to the late Newton M. and Eunice M. (Russell) Siske in Olmstead, Kentucky. She met the love of her life, Rice E. Gregory Jr. , at a gas station where he worked while he attended the Officers' Reserve Program at Western Kentucky University. Rice told his coworker, "I'm going to marry that lady. " After six weeks of courtship, they were married on March 5, 1955, in a ceremony officiated by Rice's dad. After graduation from officers' school, Rice proudly joined the United States Air Force, and the couple began their life together as a military family. The family lived in England, Italy, Turkey, and several locations in the United States. While her husband served tours in Vietnam and Thailand, Geneva stayed in San Antonio, Texas with their four daughters. The family settled in Wichita Falls in 1973, and after 57 years of marriage, Rice passed in 2012. Geneva was a member of Faith Village Church of Christ. She enjoyed playing bridge, 42, cooking and baking, and camping with her many Christian friends. She also loved to shop and was thrilled to find a bargain. She had a green thumb for growing houseplants. Her backyard looked beautiful with all her flowers, Knock Out roses being one of her favorites. Along with her parents and husband, Geneva was preceded in death by a three-month-old great grandson, Rice Gregory Neddo; brother, Allen Siske; and three sisters, Josephine Mann, Esther Mingle and Virginia Briley. She is survived by her four daughters, Deborah Neddo and husband, Jim, of San Angelo; Donna Case and husband, Gary, of Wichita Falls; Diana Sellers and husband, Chris, of Keller, TX; and Darcy McGill and husband, Donnie, of Devol, Oklahoma; thirteen grandchildren, Jenny, Rice, Del and wife, Tyla, Rachel, Adam, Katie, Tiffany and husband, Drew, Sergio, Eric and wife, Kelli, Taylor and husband, Zack, Jacob, Dillon, and Danielle and husband, Austin; sixteen great-grandchildren, Julie, Shelby, Chloe, Bralynn and husband, Jayden, Evelynn, Lyla, Lily, Cassy, Carly, Evans, Calvin, Pearson, Carter, Atlee, Gunner and Windsor; and two brothers, J. W. Siske and wife, Gladys, and Steve Siske and wife, Donna.
