Billy Ray Turner, 68, of Dade City, Florida passed away at home on September 8th, 2023surrounded by his loved ones. Born November 18th, 1954 in Moulton, Alabama to Opal Lee andJake Lee Turner. His family moved to Dade City when he was 12 years old and he spent the rest of his childhood there. He worked in the poultry industry for around 20 years before he became a concrete truck driverwith Spendless Building Supplies in Tampa. He worked there for 20-plus years, moving on tobecome a sales clerk before his declining health prevented his return. He retired in January2023. Billy had a lifelong love of music, and when he was short on words you could never find himwithout a song he was singing. He was a fan of many sci-fi and western shows, and he could oftenbe found watching marathons like Stargate, M. A. S. H. , and Gunsmoke. He never met astranger and liked to make friends with any and everyone. Billy is survived by his caregiver Bonnie Gaskin Turner, daughter Maryann Turner, step-daughterFelicia Altman (Brian), step-granddaughter Ruchama Ariella, sisters Anne Grigsby, MarieTurner, Penny Dykes (Terry), Mollie Kirsopp (Frank), and Tommie Pierce (Basil), and sister inlaw Linda Gaskin Peterson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased byhis wife Bonni Axler, daughter Michelle Faith Turner, brother Wesley Turner, and parents OpalLee and Jake Lee Turner. Michael Frederick Roessler "Roessler", 76, of Dade City, FL passed away peacefully on Monday, November 20, 2023 at AdventHealth Tampa Hospital with his wife by his side. Michael was born to Karl Frederick Roessler Jr "Fred" and Rosemary Greeson "Rose" on September 15, 1947, in Indianapolis, IN. His parents preceded him in death. He was the oldest of three children, survived by his devoted brother, John "Danny", and preceded in death by their younger sister, Elizabeth "Beth". He was raised in Beech Grove, IN and Vincennes, IN. A three-sport Beech Grove Hornet, he was a natural born leader and fierce competitor. Michael is survived by his loving wife, Brenda, his daughter, Renae (Jon) Schoening, as well as eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. His son, Kevin, preceded him in death. He is also survived by his dear mother-in-law. Helen Barton, brother-in-law, Brent Loftice, and sister-in-law, Kim (Allen) Hartman. He was "Uncle Mike" to several nephews and nieces. His father-in-law, Walter Loftice, preceded him in death. Michael was the consummate salesman, and a generous manager who loved to coach and mentor. His first sales job was at Shane Co, Indianapolis IN, but he found his sweet spot in Broadcast Media Sales. Over the years he worked in multiple markets at various stations. He connected with people on a very personal level, and met his wife at work in May 1978. They were best of friends for decades before their journeys brought them to marriage in 2010. He loved tropical vacations, and Cancun was his favorite destination. Michael retired in 2009 and they moved to Dade City, FL. He spent his retirement meticulously caring for their home, cutting grass and bleaching fences in the neighborhood. He was a good, thoughtful neighbor. He also liked to explore FL with his wife and eat at good restaurants. Fair, generous, honest, humorous, intelligent and loyal are just some of the attributes that describe Michael. He will be remembered for his incredible intelligence that was quick yet never haughty, for his imaginative sense of humor, and for his steadfast love and generosity. Always one to keep the focus off himself, he has requested privacy for his memorial. Arrangements are being entrusted to Hodges Funeral Home of Dade City, FL. He and his mother were members when he lived in Beech Grove, IN. Finally, Michael leaves behind many lifelong friends, coworkers and business associates. He touched so many lives. On Saturday, December 2nd at noon there will be an informal lunch gathering at Rick's Boatyard (Indianapolis, IN) to celebrate the life of "Roessler". This is something he loved . . . to eat, drink and talk broadcasting. The stories will be endless and entertaining. Charles "Richey" "Chuckie" R. Tegethoff, Jr. , 58, of Zephryhills, Florida passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 19, 2023 at his home. Richey was born December 19, 1964 in Lansing, Michigan to Charles R. Sr. and Katheryn (Durbin) Tegethoff. Known as Richey to his Michigan family and Chuckie to his Florida family, he loved to be outside from an early age spending countless hours with the family dog Blondie, his sister Sandy and cousins Dennel and Connie having adventures from sunup until sundown. Rarely a weekend passed that wasn't spent with his grandparents, Nanny and Pappy (Clyde & Pauline Tegethoff), sister and cousins where laughter and shenanigans were common!As a teenager he loved to hunt, ice fish and snowmobile with friends in Gaylord, Michigan and that love of outdoors continued in his life in Florida where he could enjoy hunting, fishing, bonfires and cookouts in the warm southern sunshine. Richey is survived by his mother, Katheryn Tegethoff of Portland, Michigan, sister Sandy (Jim) Thelen of Westphalia, Michigan, nephew Ethan Thelen of Westphalia, Michigan, many cousins and extended family members and many friends who became family including Jimbo Peddle and Dawn Smith and his dog, Buddy. Richey was preceded in death by his father, Charles R. Tegethoff, Sr. , and his grandparents. Richey's wish was to be cremated. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
