Billie James Harvey, Jr. , 66, of Bradenton, FL died on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at his home. Bill was born on August 22, 1956 in Pontiac, MI, the son of the late Billie J. Harvey Sr. and Mary Wolfe. Bill was a mechanic and enjoyed working on vehicles, loved mountains, dogs, painting, woodworking, camping and family reunions. Bill loved & was loved by many. He collected people as much as his favorite knicks knacks. Bill was known by many of his friends as Wild Bill. He loved to party and smoking with his friends. Bill married Donna Stockwell on May 14, 1977 in Pontiac, MI. Surviving with his wife of 46 years is a son: Billie J. Harvey III (Maryah) of Winchester, VA; two daughters: Rebecca McDonald (Timothy) of Winchester, VA; Brenda Birdsong (William) of Bunker Hill, WV; two brothers: Virgil Giordano of FL; Henry R. Harvey of Winchester, VA; a sister: Priscilla Tomlin of TN; 12 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren. Bill is preceded in death by two brothers: Richard Wolfe & Timothy Harvey and a sister: Nancy Olson. A celebration of Bill's life will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the Inwood Family Worship Center, 28 Lafayette Ln. , Inwood, WV 25428 at 11:45 AM. Food will be served around 12:30 PM. A celebration of Bill's life will be held in Bradenton, FL on November 18, 2023 at 12:30 PM at the Floridana Clubhouse, 304 52nd Ave. Terrace W. , Bradenton, FL 34207.
