Billy Vernon Davis, Sr. passed peacefully with his loving wife at his side on Thursday, October 5, 2023 in Mena, Arkansas. He was born on Saturday, December 28, 1940 to Milam and Neely Mullins Davis in Mena, Arkansas. Mr. Davis left behind a legacy of love, family, friendship. A man of many talents, he was often referred to as a 'jack of all trades'. He spent several years in the trucking business as a mechanic and supervisor. He was meticulous in the care and upkeep of his vehicles but Billy's legacy is a vibrant lawn mowing business that was the epitome of his dedication to perfection. He

Ramon "Boy" "J. R. " Sanchez Jr. , age 58, of Philipsburg, Missouri, and formerly of Morton, Texas, Ramon died Wednesday, November 22, 2023 in Mena, Arkansas. He was born March 31, 1965 in Morton to Ramon and Trinidad (Mendoza) Sanchez Sr. Ramon served in the U. S. Navy and was a proud American Veteran. Ramon was a truck driver who loved John Wayne, Country Western music and Vicente Fernandez. He was big on maintaining friendships and loved reconnecting with old friends. Ramon was a free spirit who enjoyed doing his own thing. He loved being a cowboy and working with his horses. Ramon loved his family, friends and was extremely generous. He was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast who loved to ride. Ramon is survived by his two daughters, Heather and Alexis; his parents, Ramon Sr. and Trinidad; four sisters, Patricia Hernandez and her husband, Rito of Azle, Texas, Arameta Enriquez and her husband, Daniel of Lubbock, Texas, Rebecca Lee Sanchez and James Blount of Benton Louisiana and Sandra Tovar and her husband, Jesus of Lubbock, Texas; three brothers, Shay Sanchez and his wife, Jacque of Del Rio, Texas, Hector Sanchez and his wife, Elizabeth of Woodrow, Texas and Joel Sanchez and his wife, Angie of Doral, Florida; and his cherished friends, Michael and Kristina Glidewell, of Philipsburg, MO. Ramon was beloved by many nieces and nephews. Ramon Jr. will be missed dearly by all who loved him.
