"Beverly Sherwood, age 93 of Humboldt, passed away Monday, May 8, 2023 at the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital Longterm Care. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Beverly Arlene Sherwood, the daughter of Melvin and Mina (Thompson) Vinsand, was born on June 4, 1929 in Pocahontas, Iowa. She attended Pocahontas schools and was part of the graduating class of 1946. On December 1, 1946, she married the love of her life, Gerald Sherwood. The couple raised their two children: Tom and Terri. Beverly was employed by Hy-Vee as a cashier until her retirement in 2003. Beverly enjoyed cooking, listening to books on tape and spending time family and friends. Left to cherish Beverly\u0027s memory are her children: Tom Sherwood of Humboldt and Terri (Tony) Nissen of Lewistown, Montanna; granddaughters: Reagen (Clint) Redman of Baxter and Trinity (Eric) Holden of Laurel, Montanna and great grandchildren: Piper and Crew Redman of Baxter and Breckyn Eckberg of Billings, Montanna.
