It is with much love that the family of Cecile B. Lynch shares her peaceful passing on November 21, 2023, at the age of 91 years. Ceil was born in Waterbury, CT on October 17, 1932, to the late Elie Bouffard and Celestine (Bouffard). She graduated from St. Anne Grammar School and Wilby High School, Waterbury, CT, class of 1951. Ceil's family was her greatest treasure as she hosted Sunday dinners and a generous laugh with all. She also carried a passion for the outdoors, particularly gardening. She was devout in her Catholic faith and attended daily mass through the years with her circle of friends. Travel was another of her joys as she visited many sites in Europe, North America and Asia with friends. She will be greatly missed by her children; Sandra Lynch and daughter Sarah Monti, Michael Lynch, wife Donna and children Kelly and Megan, James Lynch, wife Ann and children Patrick and Katie, and John Lynch and wife Kris Cramer. Ceil is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, Ceil was predeceased by her husband, Louis F. Lynch Jr. , her siblings Annette Noonan, Roger Bouffard and Ida Pratt and her grandson, Fred Monti. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023, from 9:00 to 10:00 a. m. at the Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 122 Waterbury Rd. , Prospect followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 4 Union City Rd. , Prospect at 10:30 a. m. Gavin "Gav" Gallant unexpectedly passed away on November 11, 2023, at the very young age of 21. Gavin was born on June 23rd, 2002, in Waterbury, CT, surrounded by the love of his parents Melissa Cegielski and Phillip Gallant. As a young boy Gavin was courageous, active, brave, bold, and unrelenting during any activity he participated in. Throughout his youth, Gavin was naturally athletic and gravitated towards sports. Leading the throwing team, he served as Captain of his cross-country team at City Hill Middle School in Naugatuck. Gavin was also an avid basketball player for years and loved the comradery of being on a team. Gavin spent most of his free time discussing or admiring anything on wheels. He absolutely loved cars. He would talk off anyone's ear that was willing to listen about cars, specifically their mechanics, beauty, and speed. In recent years Gavin worked at M. F. Rosa Contracting LLC as an Apprentice Carpenter. His boss described him as, "Willing to do anything that he was asked to do on the job," "Always smiling on the job and great with customers," as well as, "always eager to learn something new. " Gavin was devoted to his family and friends. Gavin never missed a special event and was almost always the first one there. His family and friends all know him as loving, caring, kind-hearted, and always willing to give the shirt off his back. Gavin had the best laugh and was extremely funny. He will always be remembered for the happiness that he always brought to those around him. Gavin is survived by his siblings Divinity Gallant, Kayla Gallant, Destinee Zarrelli, Xander Albitz, and Hope Pecor. As well as his grandparents, James Cegielski, and Phillip and Charlene Gallant. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 4 pm to 6:30pm at Prospect Memorial/ The Palmerie Family Funeral Home, 122 Waterbury Rd. , Prospect. Donald E. Bragg, 88, of Prospect, died peacefully while surrounded by the love of his family November 5th, 2023 at Waterbury Hospital. Don was born February 14, 1935 in Waterbury. He was the son of the late Emil and Myrtle (Handy) Bragg and had been a Prospect resident for the past 61 years. Don attended local schools in Waterbury. He was a proud Marine and a veteran of the Korean War. He was employed by SNET from 1947 until his retirement in 1987. He was a member of the Prospect Police Department serving part-time from 1968 until 1987, at which time he became full-time until his retirement in 1999. Don was the founder and president of the Central Connecticut Scuba Divers Association and taught scuba diving at the Naugatuck YMCA for many years. He was a member of the Naugatuck Lodge BPOE No. 967 and was a member of the American Legion Post No. 0194. He was Chairman of the Highway Safety Committee in Prospect. Don was known for his restoration and refurbishing of antique cars. He was a proud member of the CT Thunderbird Club. Don is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Barbara A. (Martin) Bragg and two daughters, Dawn (Bragg) Krisavage (Paul) of Prospect, and Elizabeth Crews of Port St. Lucie, FL. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Adam Krisavage (Nicole), Carly Walsh (Michael), Newman Crews and Ryan Crews, as well as great grandchildren, Emma and Meghan Krisavage. He is also survived by his sister Virginia Woodin of Bristol and brother John Bragg of Oakville. Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023 from 5pm to 7pm at Prospect Memorial/ The Palmerie Family Funeral Home 122 Waterbury Rd. , Prospect.
