It is with great sadness that Clifford E. Chudleigh Jr. passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024, at the age of 61, with his loving family by his side.He was a beloved husband, brother, father, and grandfather. He was born in Houston, Texas to Clifford and Florene Chudleigh. He retired from CenterPoint Energy after 30 plus years of employment and received several awards for outstanding service. Clifford aka “Buddy”, loved to create memories with his family, friends, and especially his grandchildren. He also loved hunting, fishing, woodworking, taking grandchildren on tractor rides, gardening, shooting guns, and anything a true country boy would do.He is survived by his loving wife Cheryl Chudleigh of 32 years whom he married on Valentine’s Day 1992. He is also survived by 2 sisters Doreen and Colleen, his sons and daughters-in-law; William and Whitney Chudleigh, Danny and Michele Vaughan, and Robert and Denise Vaughan; as well as 6 wonderful grandchildren: Kaylee (17), Noah (12), Korben and Kira (8), Kaison (5), and Maggie (1); nephews Jeremy, Justin, Michael, and niece Chelsea. Geraldine is survived by her loving husband of 68 years Delbert Schuster; sons Joe and wife Cassie, John, James and wife Tracy; daughter-in-law Donna; grandchildren Christy, David, Jennifer, Jaclyn, Jessica; great grandchildren Cameron, David Jr., Cayden, Olivia, Wesley, Dax, Chayse, Ryli, Jaxson; as well as many friends. Geri will be remembered most of all for the love she had for her family. She will be remembered for her love of cooking, her many specialty dishes, like spaghetti chicken and porcupine meatballs, and her love of playing games. Family gatherings always included spirited games of wahoo, cribbage, canasta, or any card game that the family dared to take her on with. Yes, she could be very competitive! It was always better to be on her side, than on the opposing team. She will also be remembered for her love of traveling, and her Houston Astros. Baby Santiago Emmanuel Gutierrez, aged 12 days, passed peacefully in the arms of his loving parents into the loving arms of Jesus on December 26, 2023. Santiago Emmanuel was born on December 14, 2023, at 7:17 a.m. at Houston Methodist West Hospital to Francisco Gutierrez and Deanna Perry. During his short days here on Earth he touched many lives and was a gift to us all. We will remember and love him forever. Santiago joins his maternal great-grandmother, Consuelo Saldivar, his maternal great-aunt, Amparo Bernal, and his paternal great-grandfather, Fernando Escobar, in Heaven. Jing Aaser (Julie) was born in Shenyang, China on October 5th, 1971. She came to the United States in August of 2005 and six years later became a US citizen. When she first moved to America, Julie spoke very little English, but that didn't stop her from pursuing her dream of earning a degree. She immediately enrolled at Houston Community College. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston in 2009. In 2010 she earned a Masters Degree in Accountancy, and shortly thereafter she earned her CPA license. Education was extremely important to Julie, to say the very least! Family was equally important to Julie. She absolutely loved being a mother and was completely devoted to her family. Julie passed away on the morning of November 3rd following a long battle with cancer. Her final days were spent at home in Fulshear, Texas surrounded by loved ones. She is survived by husband of twenty-three years, Michael Aaser, her daughter, Skyla Aaser, as well as her parents, two sisters, and one brother. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 9-11am at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 11am. Interment will follow at Canon Mathis Cemetery.
