He was born on January 19, 1937 to Harold and Lorraine Pearl and later joined by a younger sister Nancy. He spent a portion of his life in Indiana, before settling in Grand Rapids, MI where he attended Union High School. He was a part of the hockey team there. Carol Ditmar went to her eternal home and we are comforted with these words from mom, "If you get a call that I am gone, I want you to be just as happy for me as you know I will be seeing dad again. " We know that she has been welcomed by her heavenly Father, her loving husband Henry of 47 years, grandsons Henry Ditmar V and Johnny Schreiber, late parents DeWard and Elise Humphrey, brothers Rick and Junior and many other loved ones.
