She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruno and Grace Grussendorf; husband Clifford Duty; one daughter Karen Duty-Campbell; a grandson John David Campbell; and her siblings Marie, Betty, Rita, and Bill. She loved gardening and fed the family well from the fruits of her labor. She and Clifford planted many trees on their property and enjoyed their beauty. She enjoyed sewing and was a busy mom with twin sons that, I'm sure, found plenty of mischief to get into along with their cousin, Billy Pearson. Karen, as the oldest sister, was a big help, caring for Malinda and watching after the twin boys, who thoroughly enjoyed terrorizing their two sisters! She was a proud German, and loved studying her German ancestry, and shared that often, with her family. She was strong woman with very strong opinions. Bobbie lived a long life, almost 90 years, and then fell asleep peacefully, December 4th, 2023. Viewing will be from 11:00 A. M. to 8:00 P. M. , Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard, Oklahoma. Family will be present from 5:00 P. M. to 8:00 P. M. A Graveside service will be at 2:00 P. Paul Boone

Paul Boone

Age - 77

October 15, 2023

It is with heavy hearts as we announce the peaceful passing of Lesley Paul Boone, at the age of 77, on Friday morning, September 29th, after a long battle with Parkinson's and Lewy body dementia. Paul was in his own home in Blanchard, OK surrounded by those he loved most as he took his final gentle breath. He is survived by his wife Bonnie Boone, brother, Wayne Boone, sister, Loyce (Mike) Pearson, son, Brian (Kimberly) Boone, along with their three children, Matthew, Kayla, and Carsen Boone, as well as daughter, Bren (Tom) Petroski, and their three children, Kaed, Kaelyn, and Kye Petroski. Paul attended school at Tuloso midway ISD in Corpus Christi, Texas graduating in 1964. He married Bonnie in 1965 and they attended Texas A&I both securing bachelors of science in secondary education. After many years teaching, coaching and influencing the lives of young people, he moved into the petrochemical field working for over 20 years before retiring to Lake Toledo Bend in Hemphill, Texas where they met life-long friends, and spent 15 plus years, before eventually settling here in Oklahoma. Paul was a talented craftsman and took pleasure in building things with his hands, but what he will be remembered most for is building up people as a coach in both life and sport. His quiet, but bold presence exemplified the true nature of hard work, honesty, and strong moral compass. He dearly loved his family and adored each of his kids and grandkids. Some of his favorite moments were watching his children compete in sporting events, cooking massive meals as we gathered for a long weekend or holiday, playing card and board games until wee hours of the night, and most of all watching the joy on each face as we spent precious time together. He found peace in God's promises as he became a student of the Word and desperately wanted that same comfort for this country. A steadfast christian, Paul just wanted to walk with Jesus and for others to see Christ through his life he so well-lived. He left this world for a much earned reward he sought with all his being. Our prayers for a sweet journey. You will live in our hearts, always my love. There will be a small reception held to celebrate and honor Paul's beautiful life at The Blanchard Church of Christ on Saturday, October 21st from 11am-1pm.
