Betty Devose Obituary

Betty Mae Devose, our beloved wife, mother and grandmother who passed away on April 6th 2023 at the age of 86. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilhelmina Jackson & Mayfield Jackson. Betty was born on December 7th 1937, in Savannah Georgia, she lived a full and rich life. She was a loving wife to her husband Theotis Devose for 47 years, who loved her. She was a devoted mother to her four children Steven Lee Wiggins, Stephanie Ann Catching and her husband Richard Rodgers, Nolan R Jackson Jr. and his Fiance Sharece Stong, Ramoun D Price . She was also a cherished grandmother to Rashod Wiggins, Shacara Hudson, Rashaun Price, Brianna Exum, Rimona Price, Serenity Price, Trevor Wiggins, Elijah Wiggins, Ramoun Price Jr, Jacob Price. , Paris & Zoey Price, and Deantre Price and Amar Downing. having 14 great grand kids. Betty was known for her kind and gentle nature, her warm smile, and her generous heart. She always put others before herself, and she took great joy in spending time with her family and friends. She loved to cook, and her homemade meals were always a favorite among her loved ones. She was we loved and she will be missed by many. Appreciation Perhaps you sent a lovely card, or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent those beautiful flowers, that we saw sitting there. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, as any friend could say. Perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us that day. Whatever you did to console our hearts we thank you so much for whatever part.
